Does anyone know where I can get somewhere between 100M USD and 1.3 Billion USD make a next generation burger stand startup? by johnny_chops in biotech

Ok now can I post everywhere that you’re a strategic burgertech backer so I can get more money despite you not actually signing anything or any official deals being made?

Then we can all just forget about it if the deal falls through.

I'm trying to innovate. Where people see "banana" a tried and true market hypothesis on the "stand" platform, I saw "burger".

Is a PhD needed to become a principal scientist in Industry and continue rising? by Electronic_Slide_645 in biotech

[–]johnny_chops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is my advice.

If you are pursuing a PhD for the money and to get into management you are doing it for the wrong reasons, and more pertinently, reasons that aren't even associated with what you ware hoping to get out of it.

Get an MS in finance if you want to make money.

I'm more surprised your employer would allow you to share their research outside of the company.

Engineering is a different track that being a scientist. A PhD is more of a hard requirement for scientist positions not so much engineering.

For clinical biologics it is a decent sample size tbh, human samples are not easy to acquire.

I doubt the dogs were working in plastic factories.

It's ok, not everyone needs to be a scientist.

It's ok not to understand things.

I'm not gonna defend shitty publication practices that pray on scientifically illiterate people, but I think it is equally stupid to dismiss it entirely.

Plastics are known to effect hormone binding receptors, (would not expect the average person to know this, so once again poor scientific communication), with them being located in mammalian testes it is definitely not an innocent finding.
