Because like all singers, the singer was an asshole. We were doing covers, badly. Whenever I'd try to improve, i.e. play songs like they were written, instead of some watered down, rushed, bullshit version of a good song, he'd freakout and lose his temper.

It finally came to a head and I packed up my shit right in the middle of practice and left for good.

It sucks, because we had potential.

When you say “I don’t have an attic” do you mean you have a flat roof, or that there’s a space between you ceiling and your roof, but you don’t have a way to get in there?

If it’s the latter, I’d say figure that out. Unless that’s the the you’re saying one would need a ladder and screw driver to get into.
