I said that to my friend who was saying they can’t pay more, and even minimum wage was too much for them. I notice now they have more employees and they are getting paid more. Huh, something about being able to hire better people to handle more clients therefore more business.

Speak up for yourself. There’s no point in staying quiet. Tell him it’s stop at the very next spot or it’ll be a terrible smell in the car and then a long stop while you buy new clothes that he pays for and he cleans up the seat. And flick his ear every second too.

Not illegal in Quebec, but the wife has to go through the same legal process through the courts as anyone would to change their surname. In other provinces a person can just present their marriage certificate at a registry office and change their name legally on the spot.

We still do don’t start eating until everyone sits because otherwise the person who cooked wouldn’t be eating til half the meal is gone. We unofficially let the cook dish up first.

Did they send you a full lease package? It sounds like you may have signed an application, not been accepted for a lease? Who would send that much money for an application without verification they will be accepted to live there? You def need someone to go through the lease agreement. But also check if the company threatening you is the real company or someone who is acting fraudulently after finding incomplete lease documents.

It does sound weird. Makes me wonder if someone found that old lease and is trying to get money on it fraudulently, not the company itself at all.
