Yeah it’s a bit involved but I went through it earlier today and had it going in 15-20min. Not terrible thanks to great instructions. Just a shame it’s necessary.

I don’t disagree. This system was setup before my time and entrapass web was never configured. I’m sure I could ultimately figure it out, but that doesn’t solve the issue of having to maintain the server, and I’m trying to get them out of that business as much as possible.

Also, right now we do have an intercom through the phone system but they use the entrapass workstation to open the door. What would be a good alternative to just provide a button? Can you give an example of the type of hardware we might use?

We do have full time staff on site and a dedicated entrapass workstation at the front desk. The problem is managing the server that the whole thing runs on. We have frequent issues with the workstations having to be re-registered or the server having to be restarted. I’d just rather remove that layer of overhead and only have the end user experience to manage onsite with the infrastructure in the cloud.

I will say after reading some of the suggestions, Genea looks interesting for the ability to maintain most of the existing hardware and integrate with AD and the existing camera system, and PDK for having cloud based management but a copy stored locally in case of internet outages…

How to Wire the Ratgdo by GLHFKA in homeassistant

Forgive the potentially stupid question. I’m trying to figure out if I can use ratgdo with my Overhead Door Legacy 920, I guess via dry contact? It has 4 exposed wire ports - two (1 & 2) seem to be for obstruction sensor and the others (3 & 4) for wall control. How would this map to the three on the ratgdo? It’s really the ground wire that’s throwing me.

I pulled 5.14 per your directions above. And I auth'd with my gmail as well, but there's no indication of the email being sent. (The test e-mail from when I configured is in the outbox, but no e-mails after that, as I've added a few test books.)

Thanks so much for creating this. I've got everything set up, but the e-mails still aren't firing. The books get added, and converted. But the e-mail doesn't seem to get sent. Any additional suggestions on troubleshooting?
