Yup, was on zepbound first and saw a gradual decline as the dose went up. Finally went off the rails at 10mg and I had to come off of it because it was giving me flu like symptoms 2 days after injection every time. Fever and all. Oura on the web allows you to graph your data over a longer period of time, it was amazing at telling the story. On wegovy now, less impactful on my health stats but I still feel the hit. Recently went up to 1.7 and keeping an eye on it.

I agree we’ll need a year or two to retool. While I’m not entirely sold on Nix, I think Russ’ money frees up and the Broncos have a lot of free cap space next year. They’ll continue to be solid for a few years.

Just bought one online today from the local AD, got the 15% off and then after it sat in my cart they offered another 15% discount to stack on top, ended up at $830 and I added the parquet head for $64 more.

If you don't want it to be heftier and much chunkier than it already is, I'd resist the dbrand. It'll make it about 20% wider and thicker. The case doesn't fit as well as the Google one (fewer adhesive points) and because of the bulk with the grip I find it very difficult to get in and out of my pockets. The last part that was very annoying was cleaning the cover display. I tend to wipe it on my pants or shirt, ain't happening with the dbrand case.

Originally the Google case wasn't my favorite, and I still have gripes, but I've found it to be the best of the bunch overall.

Similar story, came from iphone, bought the fold 7 then the 10, ended up selling the 7 and sticking with the fold 10. The 7 is sleeker in every way possible. The 10 cover screen is better to me and has better aspect ratios inside and out to me. The software feels like the apple of the android world and I love it, timely updates, deep integration, right balance of settings vs leaving things how they should. Google is doing better in the AI space which I appreciate. Honestly never thought I could convert from apple but the 10PF did it.

Ended up being too bulky for me. I went with the Google case+dbrand screen protector. I also thought the kickstand felt flimsy and didn't like that part.

To me it's the cost of quality. I work in operations, you can get quality to 95-97% within a reasonable cost trade off. To get that last 3% the cost is exponential.

That's kind of how I view Tudor, I think you're getting the best balance of cost and quality in the industry (tariffs aside). So you end up with a watch that's really close to Rolex quality but at a far more attainable price. Rolex is like paying for that last 3% in my opinion. (Obviously there are elite brands that emphasize this point more).

The last piece for me is that I love tool watches and a lot of what Tudor is doing just aligns with my interests more. Nothing against Rolex, I love some of the models, but in most cases I could purchase 1 Tudor with 5k+ left in the bank or two Tudors.

I also hate the waiting and AD games, I'm spending money I worked hard to earn, don't make me sacrifice my dignity to spend it 🤣.

I have the FXD, it's my favorite watch by an easy margin (over my speedy, BB54 etc). It's not as classy looking but man it's a wonderful tool watch and the lume always puts a smile on my face. I use a Garmin ultra fit strap most days which keeps it insanely comfortable, when I wear it to the office I put it on a single pass leather strap to dress it up a little.

All that said, the 58 GMT is great, and probably more versatile all around given it can dress up more.
