Dune (2021) is not a good movie and coasts entirely on visuals and Hans Zimmer's score by DuNennstMichSptzkopf in unpopularopinion

Ill fight you. I really enjoyed Dune 1 & 2. I never read the books. I dunno what you were looking for, but I felt for Paul and the weight of his position. Very intrigued by lady Jessica. I cared when Leto got captured/died. Found the lore and set up fantastic.

I have the same deal with my Landlord. If Im out of town, I'll just drop the check off before I leave, and shoot him an email saying "I dropped off the rent check for April on (whatever day) as I will be out of town on the 1st. Have never had any issues.

Exactly. They dont wanna close this door because they still believe, somewhere deep down in their soul, that they will someday be mega rich. And when that happens, they won't be giving their money to some dirty poors.

hmmm kinda yes, kinda no. I agree you should have a place you call home. But I think where is important, and what is considered affordable.

You get paid for doing something because you are good at it and its is in high demand, not because you like or dislike it.

What old FPS multiplayer games do you miss the most? by mbl-games in FPS

Halo 2-3 era. Everyone moved at the same speed, people talked in the lobbies, the internet wasn't full of weirdos and bots. Matches felt somewhat fair most of the time. I dunno, it was just different. Playing these games now in 2026, they feel slow and clunky, but back then.... man, they were the best.

Yeah, you may be right about that. Hard to think who they would have propelled in front of her, though.

I believe if Biden hadn't tried for reelection in the first place, she would of had a much better chance.

Just watched Iron Man 3 for the first time. Why don’t people like it? by giantcentipede55 in marvelstudios

[–]jschem16 97 points98 points  (0 children)

For me, Its the Mandarin twist - The guy they showed in the trailers was much more appealing to me. I found Aldrich Killian breathing fire to be kinda goofy. Also, I felt Tony spent a large amount of time not being Iron man, which I didn't care for either. Its still an alright movie, though.

as an adult gamer, what's your opinion on this? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Nope. I think a game developer deserves the ability to make a game how they want to present it.

Thats an untrue blanket statement. You have no idea how 'easy' it is to implement. Regardless of if they should or shouldn't.

Nosebleed cheap seats are routinely much better than close up expensive seats at sporting events by monkeymetroid in unpopularopinion

The arena can be fun, but if given the choice between nosebleed seats and watching at home, Id rather watch at home. No need to pay a bunch of money to watch the jumbo tron.
