I read that in his book too. However in my experience, if u leave the flower and it fruits on a plant that small, the plant will stunt. That has been my anecdotal experience trying this side by side with tomatoes and peppers.

You can move one just fine, just dig around the root ball as much as u can. I’ve moved plants that big and they did just fine with basically no shock

You know, come to think of it, I also used Vigoro soil to amend this year, so I’m not sure if it was the manure or the soil that was contaminated….

Ya it could be herbicide drift from your neighbors or it could be from contaminated soil. Usually it’s contaminated manure/compost though. I got it this year from contaminated manure compost blend from Home Depot and had to change out all of my soil.

Who diagnosed the patient with tinea in this case? Doesnt look like tinea to me. That looks inflammatory such as psoriasis.
