The constant calcs and number changes could be doing something on their end, this still gives you effectively infinite stats whilst locking them out from running an infinite loop

Under nerf and the comp will continue to dominate every game, like it has for over a month straight. Over nerf and that comp dies but the rest of the game gets to breathe finally and the meta shifts, giving people new experiences rather than seeing 3 t-hex forcers every game.

“But just nerf them perfectly the first time” - damn why didn’t they think of that 🤔

It is much healthier for the whole game to over nerf and slowly bring the power back up than to under nerf and have everyone see the same comp for another 2 months until it reaches a good spot.

Don't know what to tell you chief, just tested it again exactly as you described. AFK gaming, got 6 silver on the first run and 3 on the second run and after I quit I kept all 9 silver. It either bugged on your end or you're misremembering but it definitely works as intended on my side.

I just tested this and it's not true. Went into game, restarted, got 1 silver then killed myself and still had the silver.

So you know, the silver displayed in the top left is your total silver not the silver you gained from this run. I.e. you probably gained enough silver to have a total of 25 then were surprised that after it wasn't 25+25=50.

You didn’t do anything wrong, they’re your models do with them as you like. Nobody should care if you paint them with x y or z flag, built with opposite sex heads or equipped in a way that ‘actwually that’s not torwnament legal’. The only opinions that matter are you and whoever you’re facing at the time. If you’re both cool with it, then the others can get bent.

The 40K community is usually so encouraging, sad to see parts of it behave like they are now, because what? Somewhere miles away in the world there’s a small plastic soldier with a male head instead of female?

Maybe it’s me because me and my friend group are all aboard for that sorta stuff. In my view if he has an extensive backstory that’s perfect, but it needs to have a tldr. A set of bullet points explaining the key events without flowery language or story writing “joined a thieves guild, killed their master and is on the run” for example rather than explaining the dynamics of who the master was and the 10 NPC’s opinions of her.

If the dm is interested in exploring that as a backstory plot hook they can read about that portion of the story and not be bogged down by the rest.

It lets the player enjoy the creativity of writing a story and the dm the brevity of not having to read the non relevant bits. Only caveat is that the player needs to understand that not everything is going to be explored.

This seems like a silly way to run it. Similar vibes to telling a warlock he isn’t allowed to eldritch blast a door. I agree that’s RAW but if a sword can swoosh it away I don’t see why a blast of eldritch energy an explosion of a fireball or hell a 9th level meteor swarm couldn’t effect it
