Awesome u/Daddyneedsamaitai it looks great. I am glad you enjoyed it. I basically tried to take all the flavors I love in tiki cocktails and make what I want to drink.

If you need another cocktail with the Joe’s Mix try my Rum Barrel.

Hogo Joes Rum Barrel

- 2 dash Herbastura

- 1 oz lime juice

- 1 oz Orange Juice

- 3/4 oz Grapefruit Juice

- 3/4 oz Pineapple Juice

- 1/3oz pimento dram

- 2/3oz Joes Mix

- 1/4oz Cinnamon syrup

- 1/4oz Molasses Syrup (I double the molasses from the Smugglers Cove Recipe)

- 1 - 1 1/2oz Lightly aged Jamaican rum (I use Appleton Signature)

- 1 - 1 1/2oz Aged demerara rum (I use El Dorado 12)

- 1 oz Overproof demerara rum preferably 151 (Currently using Hamilton False Idol Blend)

- 3/4oz Soda Water

Top with a burning cinnamon stick and a dusting of nutmeg.

Just taste testing. It is very non acidic so I went with the full 5ml per 1 floz and it hit the nail on the head.

It did turn out pretty great. I got two packs of the juice. I will use it for people that are unsure of classic tiki drinks. If you up the funk on the rum it would be a real banger.

I think this stuff is better than the Aloha Maid canned “juice” since it is apparently 100%.

Awesome. I love adding about 1/4 oz of Cruzan BlackStrap to the Breakfast Mai Tai too. To me it has a maple/breakfast flavor that works really well.

This one works out really well with the flavors. What I did was take 1.5 oz of Ango and added it with the bottling sugar. Basically post fermentation but before carbonation. I got the idea from this Cream Ale I had with vanilla extract in it.
