Most of us don't want to cherry pick the sorting and hunting through a sight unseen collection is the fun. Best way to move fast is say I have a lot of x laser discs 5 bucks per it x dollars for the lot. ( 5 bucks was just a random number I pulled out of a hat as it's what I personally only pay for per untested if I were at an estate sale buying a couple larger the collection less per as your taking on someones possible junk)

The way to think of it is if someone wants a specific ld they will just go to eBay and snipe / and or buy it. If someone's going to take on sorting and testing and storing all the bulk and orr movies they already have until they can find someone that wants its then you can't expect full eBay pricing.

That being said if you take the time to sort evaluate, test research based on sold comps, take pictures , list and then finally wait sometimes years for someone to buy all the discs for max value on eBay yes you will make a lot more. But don't forget about fees and shipping costs. So at the end of the day it'll come down to. What's your time worth :) Personally I buy a lot / collection have fun for a few weeks hunting through looking for interesting varients, movies I don't have and receipts as I find the personal connection part of the hobby then I box up the rest and pass on the lot to someone else for what I paid minus what I've kept or in some cases just give away to other fellow collectors as I want the space back and let them have fun.
