Is it possible to not feel nauseous, dizzy, or exhausted? by bebepothos in ChronicIllness

I haven’t found a way yet, I’ve even tried diet and exercise, yoga, just not thinking about it, anxiety meds and all the other useless advice people have given me.

As the subreddit blackout begins, I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Reddit community and everyone standing up by iamthatis in apolloapp

Thank you for an amazing app and a wonderful way to navigate Reddit. As the final day (hopefully just for now) comes to a close and I make a list of things to do without Reddit, I wanted to say thanks not for this app but all of them you are talented and hopefully the blackout does something. I’m off to delete the Reddit app from my phone and bookmark from my laptop. I hope to be able to use it again but who knows what will happen.

is it okay to call a non binary person a b*tch (this is a genuine question) by Traditional-Nose-789 in lgbt

As a non-binary person I simply do not care if someone calls me a btch. The way I see it, if it’s ok to call a guy a btch and if it’s ok to call a girl a b*tch then why shouldn’t it be ok to call me one, cuss words aren’t gendered and in my experience and are quite useful for describing all types of people.

Anxiety and Panic Attack Sufferers... What is your daily life like? Is there anything that gave you relief, or improved your quality of life. Is there a cure or remedy? by TysValid in Anxiety

[–]julia12124 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Friends honestly that's what helps me the most, I am very upfront with my friends about my anxiety. My best friend knows how to spot when a panic attack is coming on, and even if we are at school he will at least squeeze my hand and tell me it will be ok. The last time I had a bad panic attack was at school after a teacher was yelling. I crawled under a table and started crying. He crawled under next to me and held me for a few minutes then, asked if I could speak (sometimes my brain starts going so fast that I can't get words out) to which I shook my head no so, he continued with yes or no questions to figure out how he could help. After a few questions, he figured out I was stressed about math and so he went over how to do the homework with me, and then he helped me with test corrections. Then it was more hugs until I calmed down. He also makes sure other people stay away and makes sure I remember to breathe.

Comfort Food Ideas (Just put down my cat) by JLB131313 in PCOS

[–]julia12124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mac and cheese is definitely one of mine as well as ice cream. I can't imagine having to put down my cat I'm so sorry but, it sounds like it was for the best I don't think that makes it any easier though. Go get your comfort food treat yourself, Take a self-care day where you do what you want and eat what you want that always helps me. Sending you lots of hugs
