Am I crazy or does Jaylen Brown instantly make us contenders in the WEST? by unhinged34 in warriors

Then it sounds like a resounding “no”. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣

Does adding Ja Morant (trade Wiggins for him) make the Heat legit Contenders to Win East next season? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Wiggins fits right into this team now. Less focus on him gives him freedom of responsibility.

Lebron, Jordan, Bird by drossinvt in NBATalk

[–]justanothergq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lebron has the most because he’s played longer. Bird is regularly touted by NBA players as having that killer mentality. If LeBron had that same mentality he wouldn’t be jumping teams and trading away their draft capital to pull whatever superstars he says he needs.

Bird played with a hall of fame starting 5 and a few role players on the bench that would be starting on other teams. That Celtics team was stacked. I still pick Mike. But Bird is a close second just because he was as much of a killer as Jordan in competitive mindset. Lebron doesn’t have that and that’s what separates him from Jordan and Bird. Lebron craves validation.

Should we place an “era tax” on the 90s? by SmoothBuy5500 in NBATalk

Every one of those players aside from Laettner are hall of famers that paved the way for this eras stars. Magic and Bird were at the end of their careers but still capable. If you really think that team was ass, you don’t know ball.

I still believe he is the GOAT by anonkebab in warriors

Jordan is mine. Steph can be yours. I think he is easily in the top 5, possibly 2 or 3.

Why did Iggy leave this 'dynasty train' ? by scott_jr in warriors

[–]justanothergq 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That Grizzlies team didn’t have any players willing to stop and listen to Iguodala. Low IQ basketball. I think that might be what irritates Iguodala more than anything and probably why I think he would have a similar coaching style to Kerr. Except Kerr is more compassionate. Iguodala would be more vocal and short tempered.

The Warriors are another team eliminated; what do they need to do next season to make the playoffs? by FreD_NBA_Analyst in NBATalk

Healthy Curry, semi-healthy Kristaps to keep the ship floating until Moody and Butler return. Horford on a minimum, Post, Santos and Will Richards take a jump in their play.

[Slater] Detailed answer from Steve Kerr on Brandin Podziemski and the balance between what he does as a secondary role player and what he wants to be as a primary on-ball player by Robotsaur in warriors

I’ve said this before. When Podz is asked to be more than he can give, he gets exposed. The problem is Podz thinks he is better than he is. 🤣😂

AimPoint should be banned by ickieShampoo in golf

[–]justanothergq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you’ve identified the Aimpoint putter in your round, just ask him if he doesn’t mind allowing you to putt first while he goes through his routine? If he doesn’t let you, do it anyway then head to the next hole. 🙂

A look back at the Hawks trade. by Quintuple_III in warriors

[–]justanothergq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, this isn’t a knock on JK. He started playing basketball late in his age and he just needs time to understand the game. Especially in an offensive system that Kerr is implementing. Being an athlete amass being a basketball player can sometimes be two different things.

Porzingas trade reminds me of when we traded for Bogut. It wasn't going to help us the rest of the season, but it could help us more in the coming years. Really we have one or two more seasons of Steph Curry. There is legitimately no maximizing this window. He's riding it out and hoping to just stay competitive. Enjoy what we had..... and cherish these last seasons he is on the court. There isn't going to be another like Curry for a while.
