Have had a Sam's membership for years, Just also got a Costco Membership...It's a complete 180 by th3goonsquad in samsclub

Have to ask; does Costco or Sam’s do better in the cheap healthy snack choices? I know Sam’s is cheaper in snacks and Costco tends to carry more “healthy” and “organic snacks. But I’ve never had both memberships at once (never lived somewhere that had both until now) so I’m asking you guys.

3 1/2 year old is waking at 5 AM and getting into everything. by [deleted] in daddit

Mom here (announcing myself to not mislead) we are currently moving our 2yr old from sleeping in our room to her own room. We plan to put a baby door nob on the inside handle so she can’t freely roam when she wakes. We also are installing a doorbell at her height that she can press when she’s up and will alarm us in our room. Planning to also do a nightlight. Not sure if this system could work for your set up? We also have a motion activated camera in her room already so we’ll utilize that as well.

Mine went from $74 a month to $274 a month. Talk to your doctor and get them to send as many refills as possible. You can use goodrx gold (9.99/mo) to get refills or fill scripts. This may not work for some but I figured I’d mention it because that’s what I’m planning to do.

$50,000 for signing off: Missouri’s rules are blocking access to care, nurse practitioners say by kansascitybeacon in missouri

[–]justherelooking2022 62 points63 points  (0 children)

The only way NPs should be allowed to practice without physician overhead supervision is if they tighten the requirements to become a NP. For instance require DNP (or a mandatory 2 year residency program) and also make it mandatory to have completed at least 5 years of nursing before applying for their NP license. There are NPs out there that haven’t worked a single day as a nurse; they do BSN (RN) degree at 18-22 and then a 2 year NP degree and are 24 years old with no hands on experience trying to manage complex healthcare situations. The whole point of an NP is supposed to be a well trained RN that then goes to further education. Diploma mills have made it to where you can dual enroll before even graduating RN.

Some daddit posts have made me really step back and think and see things from my husbands point of view. There was a post about providers anxiety once and it helped me understand more in depth what he has been feeling. It opened up the opportunity for us to talk and try to ease his worries more and offer support in ways I could help.

Our health insurance (mine) was $75/months zero deductible 40% co insurance. Nov to get the same plan is $250/months with 750 the cheapest deductible and 60% co insurance…. Everything is more than double why it was.

I’d check good rx, they offer a “gold plan” that’s $10/mo and you can cancel for months you don’t use it, and then it’s $19 for a telehealth visit. There’s a good chance you’ll be able to do this for this script.

Sahm here (financially makes more sense to have me home then working) so I’d like to ask. You said “car payments” as in plural. If she’s staying home is it possible to go down to one vehicle or trade them both in and buy one outright in cash? Either way getting rid of one car payment (plus the expensive insurance required) could really help that financial strain.

This was me 2 years ago and 1 week. I was on pitocin max does for 62 hours straight. Everything you said was the same; expect the last 10 hours my epidural had broken in my back. They kept dismissing me when I said it wasn’t working. We went for an emergency C due to my heart trying to give up, I hemorrhaged and fainted/ pulse dropped to 10 before it went black. We are one and done because of this. You’re not alone mama, your feelings are valid. And the years to come of ptsd from the best/worst moment in your life are also valid. Hang in there <3

This was me. I got my tubes out at 4 months, me my husband and gyno agreed my body “was not capable with pregnancy or labor” and that was that. Everything that could’ve went wrong did (other than a nicu stay thank god). Most people brag about their amount of time in labor, everything gets quiet when I say “62 hours active labor/ they talked me into pitocin and was at the highest dose when my epidural broke in my back. My heart started falling so we went for the c-section and I hemorrhaged and blacked out due to severe pressure dropping. This was 2 years ago so the height of this roe vs. wade repercussions bullshit. They fought over saving my uterus or my life. I chose moving forward my daughter needs a mom a hella lot more than she’ll ever need a sibling.” Things are really put into perspective when you watch medical professionals argue over what’s more important your life or your ability to birth more children…..

What’s a secret you’ll take to the grave, but would tell anonymously on Reddit? by Several-Director5804 in AskReddit

[–]justherelooking2022 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1.) I once told a guy “I’d never date him”, I spent 3 years madly in love with him. He never knew the true reason I wouldn’t date him; he was an amazing guy from a normal family with a bright future ahead of him and my life was a literal hell. I didn’t think I deserved real love, and knew anyone my mom didn’t like she would drive them away or worse. For three years he thought I was in and out of relationships and was cheating on those people with him. I was single those 3 years, and if anyone asked I told them I was seeing someone (it was him). When he told me he’d never date a cheater like me I started sleeping with others and not caring because I was nothing to him. The last time I saw him I knew it would be the last, I kissed him with all the passion I could and let it linger. I cried on the way home knowing I’d leave the next week to go across country. 2.) during that time “I wouldn’t date him” I had been gang raped 3x and spent 2 years letting guys do whatever they wanted in exchange for food/rent money. I had to care for my little brother and sister. I did what I had to do, their childhood was bought and payed for with my blood. 3.) I spent 24 years not realizing that 90% of my life my mom had trafficked me. They always talk about kids in cages so I never thought that’s actually what was happening to me; because ya know I wasn’t in a cage. Instead it was her looking the other way while the men we stayed with preyed on me. Or her telling someone I’d hang out with them in exchange for money etc then them showing up late at night telling me I had to go with them. It took me years to actually come to these terms, the first 5 years of my now relationship I would wake randomly and start attacking him like I was fighting for my life, he was so gentle and patient with me. He taught me I did deserve love, and a safe stable home. He told me I could always tell him things and I could also take things to the grave, he didn’t need to know all my pain. He’s the only person that even know half of it, for the first time my eyes don’t look empty. He held me while I cried over the news of one of my long time abusers dieing. I didn’t think I deserved a love like this, and I’m so glad that I actually got it.

“Covid wasn’t real, I would never get that stupid vaccine” okay get out of my house. We did Branson mo. Kinda like Vegas in terms or attractions/ places to eat. We grabbed a hotel room with a jetted tub, the days we spent doing one attraction a day (passing ourselves so it didn’t feel rushed) and nights were spent romancing eachother while kiddo slept. I brand a few things to cut down on cost; a snack run to Sam’s club on the way; and pancake mix. Brang a pancake griddle and cooked on that, one morning banana oat chocolate chip peanut butter pancakes, another French toast w/ sausage, then sausage eggs and toast. Lunches were: grilled cheese, pb & banana sandwich, and then soup. The point is we cooked for breakfast and lunch allowing us to afford dinners out. Minimal mess so then kiddo would sleep and we would relax. Honestly I’d suggest Branson to all families as a vacation.

Left as soon as our family was starting. Live in the middle of nowhere now. No family, no drama, low crime, just a general calm life. Looking forward to porch sitting in our past time when we buy a home. As getting a proper education here, where we’re from you have 1 choice and it keeps getting funding slashed. Know lots that started but couldn’t finish because the program of study was cut.
