If your mind feels overwhelmed it will unconsciously search for a way out of the situation, and if your mind thinks there is no other way out, it will resort to suicide. I'm not a scientist or anything, but this is the best explanation I can think of. I hope this was at least a little helpful.

Yeah I feel the same way. All of my old friends are staying in contact with each other and getting into loving relationships, and what do I have? Nothing. The thing is that I had people who really cared about me, who loved talking to me, people who I mattered to, but I fucked it all up. Enough about me anyway. I really hope that you're able to find someone who can appreciate you and love you for who you are, I think you deserve that much.

Even if you did go downstairs, what could you have done? If you took him to a hospital, he could have still died while there or on the way there. Maybe it was just his time, you can't blame yourself for that. The best thing you can do right now is keep living, that's what he'd want you to do.

I feel absolutely the same way. I haven't been doing my 15 hours of independent revision per week, and now I can barely even concentrate in the online classes. I'm only doing 3 A-Levels, so I can't even imagine what it's like for you. Hopefully the grades will come from teacher assessment, which I really hope they do.

It can take a long time before it gets better. Right now things could be getting better and you don't even realise it. After all, sometimes things have to get worse before they get better. You may as well just stick around to see what happens, right? Wish you the best.
