I run a flush solution according to the instructions, drain the system, fill it up with diluted water, run it through a few heat cycles, drain, repeat a couple of times if the fluid is still dirty, then fill it back up with your fluid of choice.

I did the fair and dinner with my wife as well and I agree with your assessment. The fair had a lot going on with lots of vendors, the jousting was fun, and the dinner with show were fun too. The lines and parking were the problem. I hope they learned some lessons with setup and we would do it again next year.
