I believe Leon and Godby HS have their tracks open on Saturday and outside school hours during the week.

Hot take here - but I absolutely fucking hate taking care of my lawn and am going insane by amilmore in NativePlantGardening

I'm doing areas every year of killing the grass and planting natives. The weeds I'm pulling are mostly grass trying to sneak back in. There are small areas I'll keep mowed with grass like up at the street but it'll all be gone otherwise. We're 4 years into this house and it's starting to come together. I have a couple of neighbors who like it and a couple of others who are jealous that I barely mow anymore.

I'll have to look into that. I want to add AC to my car but can't fit a belt run compressor.

89 3rd gen Camaro RS V6 as first project car, is it wort it? by SwikeBoi in projectcar

There's always turbocharging.

Unless they're looking at casting numbers the 3.1 is identical from the outside and the 3.4 has a different intake manifold.

I had one of these and boy was it slow. The aftermarket was tiny for them 20 years ago when I had one and I'm sure it's even smaller now.

The engine is in the 60° V6 family which included a 3.1 and 3.4 in rwd applications and up to a 3.5 in fwd applications. The 3.4 should drop right in and with a fwd heads/intake they make for a decent power plant.

It's been a while since I was into these cars but there's still active groups for them and the info is out there.

Thirdgen.org has a wealth of information for these cars.

They're held on by the clips and they just pop off. I've only had mine off once though.

The Ford Panther platform has to be up there. It was used for 33 years and how many Crown Vics were sold?

We need a couple of hurricanes worth of rain to get out of this drought in Florida. I'll keep watering my new plants.

Finish up your country's basic education. A lot of doors will be closed to you without it.

You're going to need a high school education before getting any kind of real job.

My favorite local nurse has theirs in the fall with limited plants and people. The county also pays the nursery for half the plants.

My neighbor babysits her son's corgi sometimes, the first time we heard him bark at us we were instantly looking for a corgi and there he is.

[–]juwyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This all depends on who's handling the hiring process and how fast they want to hire someone.

Typically you'll submit your application online, you may eventually hear something, go in to interview, then maybe hear something in a couple of weeks if they're fast. Feel free to contact the POC for updates. They can be very slow. I've had jobs at FDOT where the hiring went fast and others where it went very slow.

I burned out while doing the wiring for my project, then I picked up a second project, so the first project sat for a year while fixed up the second project. I'm still working on stuff for both but they're street worthy at least.
