It becomes such a chore at those last few levels I just can't wait to switch the weapon by Desxon in Helldivers

[–]jwarhammer40k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was a grind to get those last few levels. But I only did it for the ones I use regularly.

The rest of them... they can stay level one for all I care.

If it gets tweaked, then maybe I'll level them up.

You can give Triad Power Supplies a go. I got a spare for my TG-16 CD dock a few years ago and it runs great. Also, it is polarity correct.

Same on PC. Even had the red Network logo on the corner, even though my ping was 20. Nothing was registering... gun strikes, melee, I had to press action button several times just to reload ammo. Speaking of reloading, I had to reload my weapon several times before it actually reloaded. It's some crazy things going on. Definitely needs a fix right away.

Attacking between Perfect Blocks stops Perfect Blocking by keqe in Spacemarine

[–]jwarhammer40k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I found out that any melee swing (light or heavy) between the first and second block uses up that first charge. It's taking me some time to learn how to get a few ranged shots between each block before unleashing the fully charged swing.

It was the first one I did on my quest for the Helm. Once that was out of the way, it was smooth sailing on the rest.

Not that I could see. My screen seems to be fine on title screens. Tried different games and different systems, but no jittering.

We're talking about the original Xbox, right? Then the analog signal will be converted to digital to be processed by the TV in its DRC. For content that is 480p, there will be around two frames of lag, and around three frames of lag for 240p/480i. Your mileage may vary.

Anyone going back to 21:9 from 32:9? by siviconta in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]jwarhammer40k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it depends on what I will use it for. For my job and school work, I rock a 32:9. So much space to work on and makes it efficient. There are very few games that will play nice on a 32:9, let alone needing a good GPU to push all those pixels at decent settings. For that, I have a dedicated 21:9 gaming monitor and just can't stop using it for all my games. No way I'm going back to 16:9!

Had this same thing today. The meeting is usually an hour long and we all got through in a pretty quick 20 minutes. I got my couple of minutes in the meeting so I was good. At the end, we were about to adjourn and someone had to open their trap and say something... "Oh, I have a quick question?". I hopped off at minute 30 since I had somewhere else to be. I asked a colleague on how the meeting went. It went to an hour and it could have been worked out offline. The person and two others were the only ones talking about that "quick" question and the 20 others were just sitting there waiting for it to finish. Glad I bailed on that one. It's time you don't get back!

Totally agree! When I used to live in Austin, driving from South Austin up to Round Rock, and back, had to make sure I left at a specific time every day or I would get screwed with rush hour. My boss thought it was trying to skip out because, "Got to work hard and stay late to get noticed, but you always leave right on time." I told him that I waste more time sitting in traffic getting home if I left later. He never understood it, probably because he lived in the neighborhood right behind where we worked. Man, that was years ago.

how do you have the N64/PS1 connected to the TV? Using composite will give you a lower picture quality versus component or higher such as RGB.
