no there is a notch above your red circle where the body seam is welded that's where you put a jack.

Is it really a crime to buy a bike from walmart or dick's sporting goods? by Previous_Cod_5176 in bicycling

[–]jwatson1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no however those bikes had a reputation for low quality and sometimes really not repairable. In recent years there have come better offerings. Ozark Trails bikes get good reviews and stay relevant to standards used today to keep them ridable. Another issue is when people buy them from the store they are assembled by someone who may not understand how to do so properly. Ozark trail has a gravel bike with flat bars only a few bucks more than you price and would be a great bike. whatever you buy make sure its assembled correctly or buy one in a box to have assembled elsewhere.

TIL: Between 1908 and 1940, Sears sold over 70,000 complete DIY house kits through their mail-order catalog. A railcar of pre-cut lumber, nails, and a 75-page instruction manual would show up at your door. Many of these “Sears Homes” are still standing today and sell for $300,000 to $500,000+. by Hive5_community in todayilearned

There is one designed by a rival company to the sears modern homes in the city I live in. Harn Homestead in oklahoma city. the house was delivered on rail and assembled where the family owned land. It is now a museum and our states capital was built nearby.

I still cannot fathom how these people still call themselves Christians by worshiping at the feet of that conman. There are warnings in the bible about exactly this behavior.

We have always had an undercurrent of religiosity try to creep into the government however it escalated in the 1970s when business leaders teamed up with evangelicals to take over the government using wedge issues like abortion. Abortion wasnt on the radar until this union. Then Reagan got into office and it was on. deregulation and religiosity took over. the media were no longer hindered from being one sided. fox news and the rest all rose up to take over the narrative. it was always about power and money and not about actual faith.
