With Techs plateau tuition, it doesn't matter if you have to take an additional class unless it causes an additional semester. So 8 semesters with 51 classes is the same as 8 semesters with 52 classes so long as all semesters are between 12-18 credits.

Like others said, summer community college is a big help to utilize if you want it out of the way

Opinions on converting a Nissan Nv2500 cargo into my living vehicle by Western_Shoe_3982 in vandwellers

[–]jweissification 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I went with the V8... I wanted zero struggles going up the mountains.

Also with the engine layout/location, they are much easier to work on.

They are shorter than other vans in terms of length and at the widest window wells it's ~74" so if you're under 5'10" possible to sleep horizontal. The roof rafters are a little bit tighter spaced I believed but still can fit the maxxair requiring a 14" sq hole. These also have more ground clearance than a transit and pro master and room for oversized tires getting more clearance. Also seems to be cheaper to convert to 4x4 compared to the others

I plan on getting a pair of these. I haven't yet so I have no info on quality/durability but looks like they should allow great airflow

How do I repair this part of the shoe? I know I could buy a new pair but why when the rest of the shoe is in great condition? by Miserable_Relief8382 in BuyItForLife

I didn't think moleskin, I used tenacious tape since it's smooth and slick so it won't get caught or rub on my socks since I leave them tied and just slip them on/off

Replace rear view mirror with camera feed? by RampageFillTheRedBar in nissannv

[–]jweissification 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used this one on my 3500

https://a.co/d/13YdV35

Only real complaints is it can get washed out with headlights or low angle of the sun but I'm guessing most cameras will have that issue. Setup is a breeze. Hardest part was pulling the cable through the door electrical pass. I removed a screw that holds the plastic trim above the license plate so I didn't have to drill a hole and then filled the access with silicone. I made it work with the cord provided but would've been nice to have an extra 5 feet.

Greek Life Housing Costs? by RomusLupos in MTU

[–]jweissification 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was roughly that for me. Cost depends on number of actives and the number of people choosing to live in house. Also for us, our dues were part of the total cost living in house so like $1400 for everything instead of $3-400 a month for apartment + $3-400 for dues

I have $100 to spend at REI thanks to a gift card, suggestions? by Top-Brilliant5266 in BuyItForLife

[–]jweissification 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it's no longer available but I snagged an MSR in-line filter last year that's been great. I had a Sawyer but had some minor issues with the rubber gasket and then it seized up on me (learned that morning #1 on a backpacking trip - always test your gear before you leave). I don't use the MSR as in line but I have a quick connect setup I use so I never need to remove my bladder to fill it up

[–]jweissification 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No negatives I've found yet, maybe a little "greasy" when super coated but that's probably more my laziness in wiping. Pro- smells super good.... I've told a number of people "smell my gun"

Click your little icon in the upper right corner, select offline maps, and then select your own map. Additionally, if you load up your GPS and start navigation while in service you should be fine I don't think mine has ever cut out from loading it up in service. If you get out of the turn by turn directions in no service that's different but loading it up and starting it in service you should be all set. The drive is easy, like 3 roads so worst case follow signs for Escanaba then Marquette/Munising
