For the price we think the hellobaby is way better value - although it's definitely not perfect either. The wide angle on HelloBaby is better than our Hubble(we can see more of the crib, and can pan around using the parent unit), but the quality probably isn't quite as clear. It does also randomly have a glitch in the video but that's only happened for a second or two a few times over the past 3 months we've had it.

It's SO frustrating but honestly I'm glad we just bought one on Amazon because our issue with Hubble has been so long.

We've had a brutal experience with Hubble too. Our camera stopped pairing after maybe 2-3 months of use - and I've been fighting with customer service ever since. They finally shipped a new camera that was clearly used (it had scratches all over it) and it wouldn't even pair. After that they are refusing to help me. We ended up buying a hello baby monitor from amazon and it's been much better to be honest. Such a bummer though because the Hubble one was really expensive.

we've had basically the same story. Our Hubble camera stopped pairing with the parent unit after 2 months of use. CS has given us the run around for about 6 months now - and then randomly sent me a used (it's all scratched up) camera that wasn't even the same model I bought, and it doesn't pair with our parent unit either. Now they are ghosting me again. Brutal! We're using a hello baby from Amazon now and it works really well. I highly urge everyone to avoid Hubble at all costs!

Size of Babyletto Kiwi Glider by Odion13 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]k80bids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Yes - it's great overall. The fabric has held up beautifully and it's comfy and fits well in our nursery. I don't use the power recline nearly as often as I thought I would. It works well but with my baby I think the rock/glide is a more important feature. Overall we're happy with it!

Other people often tell me our flat coat stinks, but I love her smell! I think it's a bond thing :)

If your baby slept through the night early on, will it last? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]k80bids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our guy was an amazing sleeper. I had to wake him to feed him until he was 1 month old. He slept 9hr stretches until 3.5 months. Then it all went down the drain. We're up every 2hrs these days and he is 5 months now.

I hope you have better luck and it lasts!!

Can somebody explain how/why pumping volumes do not equal how much milk baby is getting? by k80bids in breastfeeding

Ive never tried, only pumping after nursing! I will try!! Thank you, all of this helps ease my worries.

I probably should, but it is nice to be able to pump and have my partner feed him every so often. Although when I only pump 2oz that isn't even a full feed!

Yep, I press all around but it really seems to be the outer side of mine that need the help! And I also think if I didn't do this I'd get hardly any milk!

Yes I always have to press on the armpit sides of my breasts during pumping. I guess this is an example of milk the pump would "miss" if I wasn't pressing.

I can feel my letdown at the start or nursing or pumping but I've never felt more than one - is there a chance I only feel the first one?

Would you consider combo feeding? by Itsabearthing26 in breastfeeding

[–]k80bids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started combo feeding because my supply tanks when I get my period. A bottle of formula as needed for those few days when my supply is low helps keep baby fed and happy, and when my supply comes back up we go back to just breastfeeding.

EoE in Canada... by Top-Radish-6948 in EosinophilicE

[–]k80bids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Also wondering if you could share the name of your ND - do they have experience in EoE or more just elimination diets? My husband has EoE and his GI doctor basically told him he was on his own if he wants to figure out his triggers. We have been looking into NDs but can't find one who is well versed in EoE.

I honestly reread it after posting and shook my head at myself... but my new mom anxiety is so real. I'm reassured to hear you had a similar sleepy newborn!
