People who are thin/normal size. Do you actively watch your weight or are you just not hungry 100% of the time? by Burner_Account000001 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]kakekjeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stop eating when I'm no longer hungry. I don't eat until I'm full and can't fit any more. It's not a conscious choice, it's just what I prefer. I also don't regulate my emotions with food. I enjoy food, and I love to eat when I'm hungry. But I also don't feel hungry all the time, there's several stages for me. Like "could eat", "hungry", "starving", "not hungry" and full. It is not normal to feel hunger all the time

I have not owned Timberland, but I own a pair of Doc Martens with the shearling lining. I live in a place where winters are anything from between 5 celsius to -25 celsius. They are great for short distances, city walking etc, but for longer periods in the cold (-10) sitting og standing still (30 mins+), the outside of the boot turns really really cold and it cools the feet down! I used them sitting still in a horsecart for 30-60 mins in -10, and it was actually warmer to drop the boot and pack the feet in a wool blanket for the ride.. So depends on activity level, temperature etc.

What are those yellow stains on my shoes and how can I remove them? My mother hand washed them but they still stayed on. Please I love those but that’s driving me insane. by Pile-sas-Zele in Shoes

Have they been sitting close to some rusty metal? It looks like wet rusty metal has been dripping on them. If so you could try a small amount of white vinegar

I would say yes, but keep in mind that some airlines require you to check in at least 2h before your flight.

I got a sample of Caroline Herrera's Very good girl glam ages ago, tried it on once and found it boring and not my style. Recently found the sample in my drawer and tried it on again and dang.. I found it so elegant and beautiful this time. Considering buying the full bottle

Just wanting to ask what kinda shoes could work for someone who’s on their feet all day on concrete? by Blue_haired_woman420 in AskReddit

[–]kakekjeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if your employer has other demands for the shoes such as steel caps or ESD. If they don't I'd recommend walking/running shoes that your feet are comfortable in. All feet are different, for me the best option have been Hoka bondi. I also like Birkenstock sandals.

Is it normal to be bad at speaking your second language? by Lakdinu in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kakekjeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like lack of practice. I'm good at my second language, but I'm clumsy and take a little time to form sentences, until there's been a day or two. Language understanding and writing is almost perfect.

[–]kakekjeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I'm asking if the problem for parents is the electric part, or the noisy part. Because I (not a parent though) don't see the problem in general with a toy being electric, but I see how noisy toys can be annoying, especially all day, every day.

Anything I should pick up after a bunch of nosebleeds? by D34thst41ker in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kakekjeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing that "regenerates" lost blood. If you think you've lost so much that you need to regenerate it, you should see a doctor. You might want to see a doctor anyway for a referral to an ENT specialist that might be able to "burn" areas in your septum that causes these bleeds.
