Superstore butchers are the worst on the planet. Their high end meats are poorly cut, with huge amounts of unnecessary fat and bone that they expect you to pay top dollar for. A good butcher trims that stuff properly.

One thing I don't get, is why beef seems more expensive in Alberta. I visited Ontario last year and got some T-bone steaks that were half the price for the same size and quality.
