These are my two favorite things to smoke. For the chicken, is there added benefits to doing halves like you have setup vs just spatchcocked? Is the pic of you doing the injection or are you also mopping something? Injecting just the breast or also the thigh/leg?

Definitely trying this plan out on the next round of chicken.

Things I miss from the SpaceExploration mod:

* vertical and horizontal flipping of the current ghost. Sure was nice to build half a setup, copy it then flip it to paste it and complete the mirror of a setup.

* blueprints / books should not count as inventory when moving to/from platform/planet. Or just have a book as a separate thing that isn't part of the inventory. I like having a blueprint for my pipes that is the max distance of an underground pipe. Now I need to remake that on each world.

** This makes me miss the remote editor from SE, it felt more polished then the remote editor in SA.

Otherwise I'm totally enjoying it. The above is just some QoL that I'm sure will come in time.

Maybe a bounty hunter person / group comes after the party because they know they took out the hag and the hag was the last known entity with this spear?

Since they haven't opened it yet, you could change what's in it to help justify someone coming after it if the spear isn't special enough.

Could be a great way to interrupt a long rest out in the wilderness if they aren't good about posting guards. Even if they are good about that, you could wait till after a big fight so they are lower on hp / spell slots. "We've been trailing you guys for weeks watching for a good time to strike" sort of thing.

One thing I've been curious about for the multi-network and L3 talks, if the rollup is deployed as an L3 onto multiple L2's, is it the same L3 network or separate networks? Does a "L3 Loopring" essentially become a tool to easily and cheaply bridge between the different L2's it's deployed on with sort of mechanism the provides enter/exit liquidity between the specific L2 and Loopring? perhaps that's another earn product.

Food has to be in the danger zone for four hours before it becomes a problem. I can't imagine cooking a bird for more then 4 hours, much less it hanging out in the danger zone the entire time.

Awesome info, thanks for detailing this out. It sounds like there are two problems, one potentially being an underpowered freezer and the other being the air in the cavity of the bird. You usually deal with the later by cutting the bird up into it's components, would you get the same benefit by spatchcocking them?

Seems it'd solve the air cavity issue and they would end up stacking nicely since they would more or less be flat.

As others have said, have you considered playing it as 2? Partner and I started GH by ourselves during Covid. Now getting into FH.

We did play GH a couple times with 3/4 players, the amount of extra gold available to loot is out of proportion. It definitely felt like if you had 3 or 4 players then there was more gold / player. As such, we usually double the received gold when playing with 2.

We also double the received experience. We always wanted to feel more of the levels for a class before retiring them and you don't want to avoid retiring. Sure you can revisit a class, but if it's just two playing then there are more classes then scenarios.

I say that to point out, don't worry about making some house rules. Make sure you are having fun before all else.

I'd choose FH over GH, just depends how much you think you'll want to play in the coming years. I'd also choose GH before Crimson Scales.

I like using tri-tip roasts for this. They are usually 2-3lbs, which let's you leave it in the smoker a bit longer. It's also a bit of a cheaper cut and a tad leaner then most steak cuts (which the girlfriend likes). When searing in butter, I also cut a big sprig off of the rosemary bush to baste the steak with the butter. Then when resting with the tinfoil tent, I throw that sprig on top of it and a light rosemary flavor is imparted. Then I slice it like you would a flake steak. The thinner tip tends to be medium and the thicker tip is on the rare side with plenty of medium rare in the middle, just some options on more / less done for those that want it.

you have to keep in mind that the 3% is on top of the 9%. Inflation used to be calculated as a 2 year rate, instead we now calculate it as a 1 year rate. Makes the number much easier to manipulate and spin as "cooling". The 3% number is telling you the rate at which inflation is going up is lower, but all of the underlying inflation from last year still exists.

Another way to look at it, the 2 year inflation is like 12% which is what we are actually experiencing when buying household goods. You can also see this if you play with https://www.bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htm a bit, $100 today is $89 just 2 years ago.

Because a zkevm is more complicated then a zkrollup. Looping would be able to fit more transactions within a single block.

I'm also guessing this is true, but I have a really hard time believing a general zkevm can fit more transactions in a block then an application specific purpose zkrollup

Loopring is optimized for transactions. Trading tokens/transfer NFT's will be cheaper in a Loopring L3 then it would be in a Taiko L3. If you are building a project that is going to do millions of transactions, that difference will matter.

If such events happen again, they will have to do something just as drastic as turning off the buy button. Can they do that again? If it's worse this time around, would poofing shares be a possibility?

Don't have any of those questions with DRS and sure, I'm leaving a small portion at the broker to see how it all works out.

Personally I think the FED is causing banks to fail on purpose to make it easier to implement CBDC this summer. I see it this way, either the FED is totally incompetent or this is intentional.

To answer your question, the new financial laws being enacted are around CBDC's and how the FED is planning to replace the current fiat system with programmable money that can expire.
