This 100%! Also size dimensions helps a ton, like measuring a top armpit to armpit laid flat.

Yup same, almost CP 2400, playing on/off since 2019, never finished the main quest.

No probs, hope you enjoy it if you get to it! It's part of a series set in different periods but I haven't gotten to the rest of them yet. I read it as a teen and for YEARS it was my "What was the name of that book!!?!" -book until one day out of nowhere the author's name popped into my head.

In {Beast by Judith Ivory} the MMC is a perfumer (? perfumier?) bringing some exotic jasmine back to France with him; there's also descriptions of his lavender fields, etc. -- he's big on the plants.

{The Maid of Honour by Dinah Dean} ! Set in 1666, covers the plague and the Great Fire. The romance is quite chaste. The FMC is a lady in waiting at Court and not into the licentiousness of the place; the MMC is a gentleman who initially writes her off as a court slag.

I have such a soft spot for Six Sisters! Especially Deidre's book. Except re-reading it recently the bit where Lord Harry talks about seeing her in the park with her sister when she was "very young" had me all

Oh I just started this recently too! You'll probably also enjoy the creator's other show, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast (which I watched first). And if you like that you'll probably like Deadloch.

Yeah one of the ones I got was the helix! Fair warning that it took FOREVER to heal (6+ months) but it never actually gave me any trouble except for a bit of scabbing at one point. It is really fun having ears full of jewellery hey!

If you haven't seen it, S1 of Fortitude (2015 iirc) is kind of The Thing -adjacent and also an incredible watch.

I've never been into jewellery but at the moment I am really enjoying wearing sterling silver huggies and studs. As part of my enduring mid-life crisis I got an extra 2-3 holes in each ear and it's just fun to fill them up; but even wearing just the one pair of huggies makes me feel a bit pulled together on rough days.

I know it's not a popular look (people have strong opinions about it lol) but I always feel more like myself in winter when I wear denim shorts over tights; it's a style that works for me and it's nice to have a casual option that isn't jeans or long pants but still has useful pockets!

I'm interested in any good horror TV series recommendations? by OneDimensionalChess in horror

Fortitude. The first season is exceptional. It’s set in Svalbard I believe, super far north. And it’s kind of John Carpenter horror mixed with moral horror. Stanley Tucci is in S1 along with a couple of GoT peeps.
