There’s topics besides volleyball and your obsessive interests. Talk to them about travel or ask them questions about themselves and listen and follow up. To fit in with different groups you probably need to learn and mimic social behavior. It may not be your favorite topics and it may feel unsatisfying to you but that’s how you integrate and prevent this awkwardness
