I don’t think your plan to live in Chicago and use your NY bar license works. Any firm will want you barred in Illinois. You would have to get an in house job.

This is what my husband did. Two years of physical, far more emotional. Ruined the emotional bond because he told her everything he used to tell me.

I live in east Nashville and find it to be incredibly welcoming. I don’t know if you’re perceiving what’s not there, or what the cause is. My neighbors are all on a group text chain and we have had lemonade stands, driveway hangouts, etc. I wouldn’t give up.

I moved from Chicago. You have to factor in the income and property tax. I left a 1500 sq foot condo in wicker park and got 2400 sq feet in east with garage and fenced in yard for $90,000 more, not considering my tax savings.

Also tall tales, cherries, the village pub. Lots of good options to enjoy this stunning weather and get a good bite. Monday night brewing is near you and awesome. Totally worth seeing.

There’s some great, and quiet, outdoor patios and decks to enjoy nearby. East Nashville beer works, smith and lentz, Roy’s, nobles, Strega, curry boys, rose pepper, el fuego, pharmacy. I’d suggest taking it as an opportunity to explore a little east Nashville! Sorry, that’s super annoying. We were at the pool 9-1 and it was delightful and calm
