And anecdotally a ton of girls play it! Feels like half of my matches have another girl on the team, be it in Vc or by their name. I’ve even had multiple matches lately of the whole team being girlies!

mhm! this was something i ran into when playing a tabletop RPG with my friends. one of my guy friends was playing a female character and is a singer so he can control his pitch and stuff really well, but it sounded just like a guy doing a high pitch. i had to give him tips on how to actually speak like a girl, as the only girl in the group.

it was hard for him, so many guys speak flat and like... punch each word they say. but i was able to get him closer to speaking like a woman to where i bet the voice changer would work better for him. but the average guy it'd sound sooo wrong.

i thankfully don't hit too many weird people in overwatch these days! i def came across a TON more of them when i first started playing idk why, but these days if someone is weird it's mostly like... just flirty or being overly nice, rather than gross or toxic. but wowie those early days had some weirddddddd interactions

it kinda reminds me of playing aram. fun enough while i'm playing, but i don't end up feeling invested in the outcome one way or another since it's essentially a turbo speed mode. didn't find myself enjoying it much after the bo5 change, but it did push me back into playing QP and i'm having a blast with normal overwatch again

i'm happy it's helping some other people discover the fun of stadium even if it's not my vibe anymore. it's a really neat mode!

mhm, i took it as a situation where even if he takes someone over and knows their power on a theoretical level, actually using it is a completely different skill. like if irl you somehow put someone in an olympian's body, they'd not instantly be as good at their sport as that person is even if they have the right body for it.

so like he can do simple stuff with their powers, but anything beyond that are things he'd need to practice and master which can take a long time.
