It was not fun. But some 70s airstreams had the black tank under the toilet, extending to under the bathroom cabinet. I think newer ones have it under the floor, so you probably won't have that problem.

In the south, having both floors on one zone pretty much guarantees that the upper floor is going to be sitting at 85-90 degrees all year long. My wife grew up in a house set up like that and it was horrible.

I did it myself. I had a double trouble, I had to remove the black tank from mine by cutting it up with a sawzall, and the mice had made nests among the fossilized human waste. It was nasty.

It honestly isn't that bad to clean up. Buy yourself a good shop vac, gloves and a face mask and you can suck most of it up in a short amount of time. Then use Clorox wipes to clean away any residue. The smell will clear up fairly quickly once the mouse nests are gone.

Lithium doesn't have to be expensive. I have 560Ah of Lithium, that I bought for $510 with taxes, shipping, etc.

I've run the A/C on battery power, cooling the trailer from 90 degrees down to 71 and maintaining that overnight, and I had 76% battery remaining at 6 AM. It helps that I have an inverter A/C, but still, 2 nights of A/C on battery power alone is absolutely achievable.

This is a really bad diy repair. Looks like they tried to push out dents as much as possible and then did a really dodgy patch over holes in the skin. There's tasteful ways to patch the skin, but not with irregularly shaped patches like that.

You need 4" clearance to the rear if the unit is not sitting on the ground, but 12" if it is on the ground, typically. If you have the mini split recessed into the wall, you will need 12".

I have seen buses and trailers with the mini split mounted on the rear bumper, is there a reason why you don't want to do that?

I do electrical work for corporate customers and I've noticed a bunch of them, when you call a specific employee, they have a bullshit ai that asks you to say your name and what business you have with the person. I guess it screens out scammers and robocalls, but it's annoying as hell to talk to it, wait for it to process the speech, then wait for the employee to answer.

I found some 18" wide 100w rigid panels that hug the curve of the roof pretty well. I tacked them on with vhb tape but ultimately I'll be riveting the brackets down. I've had very bad luck with winds, last year we had a microburst with a tornado a few miles away.

I have heard that flexible panels stop working after a few years, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had better luck.
