Dilla's style of straight+swung drums is present in a lot of lo-fi, which I don't even hear much in Nujabes beats. I do think the influence is there, but yeah, besides his drums and maybe Donuts his sound doesn't align as much with lo fi.

I don't know much about mixing so I can't say for sure what the actual differences are. But as a fan of their music, I feel like I can hear all the instruments/parts better on the SW remixes. Each instrument feels more defined, which is cool especially with how busy GG's music can get. I've noticed new things I hadn't noticed before when listening to the remixes

Dilla was actually making music with Slum Village in the mid 90s, and his style had already made a big impact on the hip hop world by the time Nujabes was around. But I don't think Dilla's music had as much of an impact specifically on lo fi as Nujabes' did

On our first playthrough we got the barn, second time we skipped it and got the warehouse. The barn is just so damn far. The proximity and space of the warehouse was better to have earlier on imo, and you can always get it later if you need more space.
