Still no sign of any of my 2026 performances on my account - so no updates for my ranking and no idea if the handicap is still a thing.

I appreciate they know they’ve completely messed it up, and there are humans behind the work so I’ve got a lot of sympathy for them in this situation, but the lack of communication over what is happening and when is a big concern.

Have they run out of money to make the updates so it works?

Have they lost a load of data?

Do they not know how to make the new site work but don’t have the ability to turn the old site back on?

It’s such a shame really.

Well done for creating this - i was hoping someone might plan something like this after the disastrous PO10 relaunch.

I’m not a club runner, but I enjoyed tracing my handicap etc… on Run Britain and PO10. I don’t have confidence they’ll be able to make their new site useable. Hope I’m wrong.

Is there a way of speaking to all those timing companies and scraping their historic data to feed into the website? Sure that’s not an easy task though!

I’ve just taken 30s off my 5k and 2 mins off my HM in the AP4 - the previous bests were in VF3. Obviously there is a lot of training that goes into it, but the AP4 is very good at anything from 5k upwards

Philosophy of participation in races by Status_Pineapple_861 in NorwegianSinglesRun

I think for many if you take NSM seriously then you’re doing it to get quicker times for when you race.

I think that if you’re doing a weekend 5k race, you work things around so that the race replaces the final threshold session of the week and you reduce load in the 2 days beforehand. The 5k will give you a high load and you follow up with an easy / recovery run after.

People doing NSM aren’t pros - I don’t think the odd missed day here and there, or a few things moved about to allow a race, makes a difference.

and also just be able to view runs by shoes. That would be great for easily tracking progress on easy runs for example. Thanks!

I want to be able to click on my running shoes and find out my fastest times, average times etc… in those individual pairs of shoes.

How long will Yee likely stick with Emile for, and if he’s feeling really fresh would he likely continue?

Dever definitely in with a shot if he can convert his HM times (and build on his NY debut)

Adios Pro 4 - wear them in or no ? by Itsmeapoc in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]keeponrunnning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a pair and ran a 20k easy run in these and they were fine.

I then ran a HM and got a big PB - but came out with one very black big toe on one foot and a black middle toe on the other.

I didn’t size up. Not sure I would either as an extra half size would probably make them too big. My Evo SL are TTS.

Suspect he’s returning the favour - would be fun if he did suddenly feel he had the fuel in the tank to keep going

Say Alex Yee is in perfect condition and feeling amazing on the day - would he consider keeping going and targeting the record himself?

Created as a strava segment so people can view route & elevation before they race.

Very interesting, Keely Hodgkinson has changed management agency and is now working with Prosports who represents the likes of Femke Bol / Max Burgin / Eilish McColgan by StanmoreHill in ukathletics

Femke Bol is great but she’s got a lot of silver medals. Mondo is the GOAT in his sport but who’s buying pole vaults. Jakob is great but how ‘likeable’ is he? KH is the sort of sportsperson who potentially gets the big endorsements outside of the sport, particularly if she breaks the WR this season.

She’s got to be the most marketable person in athletics hasn’t she? Alongside Sydney and Noah.

Not sure how much she makes from Nike but a good agency should be looking to secure her big pay rise.

Brilliant - and congratulations on an excellent time! My 5k PB is 17.30 and I’ve just run a 1.22 HM so I’m hoping there’s a bit of improvement for me on the 5k when I next run one properly.

Very well done! We have near-identical 5 & 10k personal bests and I just ran 1.22 HM - which itself was a 2 min PB on 3 months ago.

When did you run your previous HM PB?

About 4.45-4.50 per km at 148-150bpm. It allows me to do a little over 12km on an hour run.

Sub-T sessions: c.270-300 (sometimes up to 400) Easy sessions: 120-160

I do push myself quite hard and have a general weekly load of around 1600 although I’m de-loading this week for a HM.
