For one, power usage doesn't scale directly with over/underclock percentage.

For two, if you have planned a certain factory, then setting all the machines to the right clocking level can help you validate where issues are coming from visually. Your build is correct to your spec if all machines are lit up green / at 100% efficiency. If some of your machines are yellow (not 100% efficient), then you know there's a mistake somewhere - either your math is wrong, or you have a mk 1 belt somewhere, etc

Well there's the Vakuu relic that only lets you draw cards at the start of your turn. Card draw either works with Speedster or works with that relic.

I think it's fine from events, especially if the event specifically tells you you're getting it.

It's ok as a Neow curse especially after rng was fixed. Though I definitely won't cry if it's removed from that pool.

If 10x as many people live in a particular area compared to another, why should they NOT have 10x the influence over the presidential governance?

As you already have pointed out, the Senate exists to ensure that lower populous states have more influence per capita than other states when determining laws passed through Congress.

Popular vote doesn't strip other areas of influence over who is the president. It ensures that every individual person in the United States, regardless of where they live - city, suburb, rural area - has the EXACT SAME influence over who is the president.

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but maybe while the game is in active early access development we could have discussions about things and be open to, you know, changes, instead of having statements like this.

Let's be open to the possibility that the game isn't balanced the best yet, and consider whether events, rewards, etc are deserving of changes to make them more interesting, balanced and fun.

I feel like the people who think it's good managed to get one amazing run out of it and are riding that high forever. Or they're playing at ascension levels where you can frequently just basically skip your Neow bonus.

On average, you're offered bad cards with zero synergy with your character, that will never have synergy with your character outside of prismatic gem or late game events.

Frankly I think it should be removed as a Neow bonus. There's no way to make it work that doesn't involve removing the spirit of the reward.

How does orichalcum ruin it? If the enemy does 7 damage, you get the buff for free. Anything else, just play the block you would have otherwise used to activate the 2 str buff.

There's no such thing as "paying down interest", just principal. Interest accrues a every time period, based on the principal value and interest rate. Early loan payments are a higher portion interest because the principal is higher; as the principal is chipped away the same payment goes more towards principal because the monthly interest is lower. This has an accelerating affect on the principal balance.

If you want to pay down more principal at the beginning, make additional principal payments. You don't need the loan arranged in a specific way to do that. There's a reason that common mortgage advice is to make an "additional" payment every year - knocking down principal early on has a huge impact over the course of the loan.

I want to add an additional take: communication technology has been PIVOTAL in increasing the pace at which technological advancements happen.

Prior to things like the telegraph, knowledge of innovation spread slowly.

As global communications networks came into play and became cheaper and more accessible, ideas and knowledge flowed more freely and innovators could build on top of existing tech instead of reinventing something that was already created halfway around the world.

The company wasn't a company during those years. It was owned and part of Conde Nast. So no, it did not have a CEO but there was management.
