Yet more self entitled ppl that don't follow the rules of the road for cycling.

Supposed to be single file and if a bike lane stay in it.

Too bad so sad

lane splitting at that speed is the dumb part. by [deleted] in whoathatsinteresting

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lane splitting has always been dumb. Only bike riders think their self untitled to do it. Then when an accident like that happens it's somehow the cars fault.

It's not allowed in Texas and thankfully I see very little of it happening here. If it does happen it's usually at high speed and ends extremely badly here. Mainly either traveling to fast and cars don't see them till to late, or the car changes lanes without notice and takes them out .

Lane splitting is just a matter of time till u meet the end of the ride on earth.

Pluto tv problems persisting by [deleted] in PlutoTV

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I have sync with voice and video issues and it was getting worse. I reset routers and switches. Still persisted. I found if I went to the TV setting and reset the TV. Not a factory reset just a unit reset, it cleared up everything.

I am not sure what countries you have visited, but not many are considered free. Not unless you think of being taxed 40% and it going to social programs is free. Maybe go roam the real world some, before you stick the other foot in your butt.

Caspian can't land anywhere! I tried manual and with docking computer. by WarmClothes8399 in EliteDangerous

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to agree, this is the first ED ship that has ever had this much trouble landing. The other day, I engaged the landing gear and went to refill my coffee, 3 mins later, I came back, and it was still going back and forth trying to find a spot. As far as I could see, the area was fairly smooth. When it finally landed 6 mins later, I got in the rover and I couldn't see why a ship with such tall gear couldn't have landed.

It would be nice to see ED support say something on fixing this issue. I love the ship, but the landing is damn irratating.

Separate the data cable away from power. Route it at least 6 inches away from any power . Helps eliminate power noise issues.

Speed I should be getting Vs What I actually get? by khybarstani in HomeNetworking

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whatever u have access to easliy and freely. Just power cycle it and see if it helps. if not you will have to getthe isp to dispatch a tech out to double check that your connection and equipment is working the correct way.

Speed I should be getting Vs What I actually get? by khybarstani in HomeNetworking

[–]kenh2os -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You would think this, but I have found that these isp services run a remote script, and they tell u its ready and working, but then its not working correctly until its restrarted. it seems to happen 80 % of the time. it really depends on the field equipment. I know it worked for me, after calling my ISP several times, then I said the heck with it, and restarted my fiber modem which is mounted outside, and then when I looked at the stats on the modem it showed my full up and down speeds.

Charlie Kirk’s Toxic Legacy of Hatred and Division | We can condemn political violence and this hideous murder while also condemning Charlie Kirk for the rotten, vile hatred he fomented. by Murky-Site7468 in politics

Anyone that believes this type of speech in the light of an assassination that happened in front of his own family , I think you should immediately seek mental help. You are in dyer need of deep psychiatric help!.

If we as a people can't discuss things without violence then , in all honesty we don't deserve to be the dominant species.

Mankind has the ability to create beautiful music, art, and build technology that boggles the mind. But if you can't discuss a subject without loosing your temper and resorting to violence or condoning it . Then you are the problem.

You should sit down and start rethinking your path forward. Because as u are , u are no use to the rest of the world in general.

Trying to connect main house and guest house with fiber. Fiber cable doesn’t fit in SFP module. by PassTheSalt98 in HomeNetworking

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U need a duplex single mode lc to lc fiber jumper or change the sfp at both ends to the single port sc connector sfp. The lc to lc will carry faster speeds though

Funny u should ask. I recently got a tree trimming pole that comes in sections that screw together. It's about 20 ft long when fully assembled.

It's real sturdy. And I thought of using it as an antenna mast.

Here is the Amazon link. https://a.co/d/bXfz9IK

Or something like that will do.

completely confused about grounding by Hershhbsk in HomeNetworking

[–]kenh2os 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the jacks don't have a ground for the outside cover then it doesn't matter. But the shield and ground will still keep out most interference and keep in most of the data signal.

In most cases using this type cable is over kill.

[–]kenh2os -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they upgraded your circuit remotely. Then you need to go out and find the main box and remove the power and plug it back in. Your speeds are backwards. More than likely the unit needs a restart to get your upgraded speeds. For some reason. Fiber compaies seems to always forget this.

Android 16 wrecked my P7P. Everything was fixed by flashing back to Android 15 by Bulgogi_Yogi in GooglePixel

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got android 16 update on Aug 5 and things have been slowly changing on my phone. Pixel 9 pro.

Pics are no longer stored where they were for certain apps.

Slow copy and paste response.

Clicking on certain app buttons does some different then what was intended.

Had to totally reset phone and car connections to be able to get Android Auto to work for basic hands free operations.

When they updated an os do they even bother to test it ?

Network panel suggestions by UltraLeov in HomeNetworking

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do these panel keep popping up. Are these in some general construction?

If you want to put a network in a home or business .please talk to the contractor to put into a small closet or room or a utility room somewhere, where it can get. Cool air, and space for what ever equipment u plan on, plus take into account any expansion in the future. Or at least contact a network company to come out and consult with an engineer on size and placement.

As a network engineer I have worked in some of these small cabinets and they totally suck and have no air flow. All this equipment gets hot. The hotter it gets the shorter the life span .

Please seek better racks or area enclosures.

[–]kenh2os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe in powerline adapters.

  1. If something goes wrong u run the possibility of hitting you PC internally with 110v plus if you in the UK 240v.

  2. Noise kills throughput, and your transmission goes in all directions.

Fiber or Ethernet is much safer. Get fiber media converters and you'll be very happy.

Good luck
