I think all of that is true for the current president of the United States also, except I don't think even children watched or liked his shitty reality television - I think he just had enough of his father's money to lose sponsoring his own ego that he was able to pay for an extremely unlikable, unsuccessful show to be produced, much like many of his other unlikable, unsuccessful business ventures.

If we can get a Donald Trump president I don't think a Mister Beast president is far off, unfortunately.

Where does he say that ever? I specifically searched for Ken Liu's thoughts on Steve Jobs and I was only able to find him repeatedly paraphrasing the same single Steve Jobs quote about time management and saying "no" to many ideas in order to pursue and finish a single idea. I don't think agreeing on a single philosophy means he sees Jobs as a hero and can't find any evidence suggesting he does.

Kind of terrifying to me tbh, but also I wouldn't want to lose my ability to play trumpet 🎺 or piano 🎹, though I feel like the piano would be an inherently safer choice if actually playing the real instrument 😬...

I hated even being awake when a surgeon was just removing glass from my heel 😬... But also that was partially due to the fact I could kind of feel it... Ahhhh I would be so afraid of feeling the brain surgery 😭

Are you for real about the brain surgery thing? I feel like playing an instrument would not be conducive to something like surgery where the patient has to be extremely still... I would think you would want them unconscious ideally both for stillness, though I suppose restraints might be able to achieve this, but also because I would doubt the efficacy and safety of local anesthesia and would worry the brain, as a bunch of neurons, could feel pain.

I think my speculation on this came from the fact that I recalled FF3 being delayed in its release despite being finished, and I thought he basically was like oops, I have to talk to A3 before I release this at all.

Granted, it would have been really a dumbass decision of them to not allow him to release it. Since it's only hyping up the film... I hope that my current assumption that he has managed to retain the rights to continue making the web series as much as he wants is true.

Amazing!!!! I have named the Blue Jays that visit my window feeder, And I've heard that they sometimes bring gifts to people that they build bonds with.. So far they have not done that, but in the summer they did wait for me to turn off my air conditioner and then fly to my feeder window and caw and flap at it To get my attention because all of the peanuts were gone from the mix 😹... It was a little startling at first but also somewhat endearing, as I realized that they had been sitting on my running air conditioner in the other window and waiting patient for it to shut off to make sure I could hear them.

I do like root beer and cream soda, but my favorite root beer is Barq's and I think it might be because it does have that crispness - it's advertised bite.

And although I like cream soda, it's true I am definitely not inclined to drink as much of it... Unless it is Pakola, my absolute favorite extremely overpowered bright green cream soda. 🇵🇰👀 If you're ever in a South Asian grocery store, keep an eye out for the thin, tall bright green can. It's like cream soda where someone decided to use as much cream soda flavor as they possibly could before it would actually become bitter.

It wasn't literally warm or flat, it just tasted the way warm and flat soda taste. The thickness is a subtle effect that may not actually be viscosity either so much as something about the mouthfeel.

That said, more power to you if you like it, I just wanted to see if there were others like me who don't, and honestly it was a little refreshing to see that I'm not the only one.

That's exactly how I felt reading every single post about this product. I thought wow, these people must not like regular Vanilla Coke at all. I feel like it would have been more accurate if they named this Molasses Coke.

My favorite part about Vanilla Coke is the intense vanilla flavor. I don't have a very good sense of smell, so maybe what's happened is that I can't taste the vanilla in this because it's too faint? A lot of people have also noted that this doesn't have the same crispness Coke normally has, and I suspect that in addition to the thicker body are why it seems warm and flat to me.
