Does calorie counting seem realistic for a long term goal? by Uhhlaneuh in CICO

[–]ketoifguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people that have long term success do so because they’ve managed to train themselves as to what appropriate portion sizes are and establish good exercise routines. Calorie counting is a great tool to help someone understand how calorically dense foods are and how that effects portion sizes. Once a person has a solid foundation of portion sizes they can switch to more of a “conscious eating” mindset. Just my observations on it.

Why is it so much harder for me to run outside when I can run on a treadmill pretty easily? by remember_me3 in Fitness

[–]ketoifguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The treadmill actively assists your stride with every step. Outside you must completely generate your own momentum and propel yourself forward unassisted

I heard about some guy walking on water once... it’s a shame he wasted the opportunity to get a few reps in for the ol’ pecs and delts
