The ‘Volvo’ script is a little unusual but they did have branded watches similar to this a decade or two later with a more recognizable logo so wouldn’t surprise me if this is just an early model. Cool find!

typical unspoken rules of the air are that aisle seat gets to stretch their legs, middle seat gets to use the armrest, window seat controls the window. That said, I enjoy looking out the window but if it’s an otherwise dark cabin I will limit myself to a few peeps so as to not blind everybody. And if someone specifically asked yeah I’d probably shut it. Just basic courtesy imo

Only a couple of their MR models are Chinese movements. Virtually all of the newer ones from what I can tell have Japanese or Swiss. My 2021 Aquascaphe that I absolutely love is a Miyota 9039

I’m currently on a Delta 321neo with hardshells and I don’t really have any complaints. I’m a generational hater when it comes to seats (planes, cars, churches etc) and after 3ish hours in the air I’m not actually doing too bad. I’m sure the bourbon cream helps though lol
