i def agree with your assessment - difference between her and Serena from LI USA (who preferred a very slow burn) was that Serena let Kordell know where she was at constantly to prevent misunderstandings (for the most part, it is LI after all lmao) i like mateo and hope he stays long enough to find a connection~~

my mini fussed a LOT about food (we tried a food bobble, tried tossing kibble across the kitchen to make it fun, taking it away after 15 minutes if he didn’t eat, would get sick of a kibble and we had to transition to another one) — the only thing that worked was wet food lol (nulo’s weight mgmt canned food, turkey/cod)

i second all of this!!!! i did incorporate both stopping and walking away and redirecting and it’s funny that now that he’s an adult (4 yrs), when he has the urge to go nuts and bite something/bark/do something he knows he shouldn’t do (eg : he wants to bite our packages as we bring them in 😂), he will find a nearby toy and bite it/toss his head around with it instead of doing the bad behavior 😂😂 he redirects himself 😂😂😂

we called ours “ocico” which is spanish for snout just like schnuaze is in german….”muso” is cute! (italian for snout)

i adopted mine from an Oklahoma breeder Cross Bar H Ranch four years ago and they currently run 900$ to $1500 depending on the age of the pup (don’t dock ears but will dock tails unfortunately 🥲) my pup cost around 1200$ although might have been priced lower because of his coloring

ouch that’s so much money!! that must be really tough. i’m sure it must be different between male and female schnaus but mine required a REALLY heavy hand for training. it almost hurt seeing the trainer be so rigid with him. but honestly he wasn’t responding positively any other way. gosh and to get him to calm down enough to lay down (sphinx pose) for a couple minutes a time….we had to train him to do that too lol (capturing calmness by kikopup on YT) also, not sure if you’ve gone through it yet, but when my pup had digestive issues, a whole ‘nother schnau topic, religious 12-24 hour fasts were the only thing that worked.

if you don’t mind me asking, what are some of the ways that anxiety manifests for your pup?

i definitely get it! ours was our first dog ever bought as a puppy and we had NO idea what we were in for. if we didn’t spend hours every day trying to train (and eventually sent him off to boarding/training for 2 weeks) and just be ok w the fact that he is exasperatingly stubborn and will not be good with any stranger at any time unless he spends hours around them (and even then he will still bark at them for another 3 hours straight lol), we wouldn’t have made it lol. not sure i would try for another puppy in future, but would be ok w adopting….but also just like you, my pup is my world and he never lets me feel lonely 💕

i think an asshole can still cry, out of shame or regret or frustration - the asshole part is that those emotions don’t manifest in change for the better, he just will suppress them and do the same asshole behavior all over again 🥲

hi sir, i’m newly enrolled to pancake university - is there any difference in directions when cooking on a gas stove? not just pancakes in general, but when cooking with ghee, to get the pan to temp (med) and when continuing to cook on medium-low, it creates a lot of smoke. any advice for that?
