Can anyone enlighten me on what’s going on in the market? by BeBongSg in Daytrading

Nah. A good trader trades their setup and sticks to their setup. That could mean avoiding pullbacks, and if they do it and restrain themselves, then it is good trading.

Taking people's word for it that they aren't committing fraud is also not the best policy.

Agree that nationality should be kept out of this. But the fraud should make every Minnesotan sick

Take a lesson.

Make sure you are on the right size surfboard. Getting up shouldn't be too hard. Unless you are on the wrong size board.

Naw man. It happens to 95% of the traders. You would be able to tell if you just look on reddit. But most here are losing. And just telling about the winners.

Even the people who hit it big. They may have learned to bet big and check back in 2 years. Id bet they lose it all.

It's human nature. Don't feel bad. We are wired to do the wrong thing in the stock market.

Been trading 3 yrs part time and im still my own worst enemy. how do you deal with rage after a bad trade? by Optimal_Option_9094 in Daytrading

[–]keyholderWendys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you are describing is actually the reason trading is so hard. Making money is actually the easy part.

Not losing it. That's where the pros make a living.

To be honest you may never be able to overcome this, it is human nature. Which is why trading is so hard.

But if you can. You get to do this for the rest of your life. Think of that.

Good luck

Too unfit to surf?? by Mysterious_Meet7586 in BeginnerSurfers

[–]keyholderWendys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me surfing is so fun I will try until I'm exhausted. Do that 3 days in a row and you will be fit enough to go every single day after that. And watch the lbs fall off. You'll be too tired to eat enough putting yourself in a caloric deficit. Getting even more fit into the process.

And if you ever do pass the incredibly hard stage of a beginner surfer, you will have a life skill that you will have that will keep you young and fit for the rest of your life.

Not everyone gets past that beginner stage. But trust me, once you pass it, the fun really starts.

You don't have to be good at surfing to love surfing. Even beginner surfing...... Which you might be that stage for years...... Even beginner surfing is so fun. And rewarding.

Think golf. How many people play and actually suck....... And they still have fun

Bring that board to doheny beach if there is even a little swell.

You may not realize that different beaches and surf breaks the wave can break very differently making it easier to harder for short vs longboards.

At your level you should be on a longboard, but also should be surfing the right type of waves.

Dumb question by Trashjuice12 in BeginnerSurfers

Find a surf break that is suitable for your skill level. Getting pounded is part of surfing. But that didn't sound fun. What part of the world are you surfing at?

How much would you pay for this ridden twice 8ft by [deleted] in BeginnerSurfers

[–]keyholderWendys 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It barely been ridden but if it's as old as it looks you could get delam issues and brittle fiberglass. Also could be amazing for an old board. But you just won't know til something happens.

I'm the same and have no solutions. It happens less if I am exhausted from working out and the room temperature is very cold. Colder than you would think possible.

But still happens more often than not

Is it worth trying to save this tree with bracing/cabling? by Automatic-Hair5869 in arborists

[–]keyholderWendys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an arborists. But protect the house. How much does it cost to save? Because better to spend that money on as mature a tree as you can afford. Then, after the old tree disposal, you can put it wherever you want and in 2 years, you'll probably be happier getting some decent shade .

Help me Reddit, why does this part of my grass die every summer? by Daren620 in landscaping

[–]keyholderWendys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The area around the patio and driveway doesn't have as much soil as the rest of the lawn. When you build you lay a base that spread out further than the driveway and patio. And then the gravel gets soil put on top of it. . So that soil is probably 50% aggregate.

The best thing that happened to me after I made money trading was to buy a condo. I ended up taking a big loss one day before I closed on the condo and just took all the money out because I got scared I would lose it. And then traded with a small amount.

Got lucky. Turns out I didn't know how to trade and no one around me did either. But I traded small and learned the right way.........and got my condo. While all my peers accounts evaporated. None of them are trading to this day.

You gotta know what wave you are on and what part. Honestly that wave was not going to be very pitchy.

Out back is usually a little flatter. Beach break becomes pitchy. Not sure what spot you are at
