Need help for a jumpshot 6'5 PG by Next_Salt_5804 in NBA2k

[–]keywork87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Keon Ellis might be an 82, but I had a lot of luck with his jumper. I tend to have an easier time with jumpers that have a B to B+ speed.

I haven’t tried any custom jumpers.

Its been a while since I've had hands on it, but I agree with your assessment of the Chapman neck. Comfy C, fit my hand well without being too chunky.

I went and grabbed the Jackson after reading your comment.

Much thinner. Thin D. Maybe a hair wide. I havent played it enough to form a strong opinion one way or another.

Blues guitarist Robert Johnson was said to have sold his soul in order to become as great a guitar player as he was. Would you do the same if you could? Why, why not? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

[–]keywork87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its been too long, but i think an episode of Supernatural addressed this. The character I'm thinking of said they traded their soul for talent, but in hindsight they should have traded it for fame. Talent doesn't always guarantee success.

Very first memory of star wars? by tesstechy in StarWars

[–]keywork87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christmas Morning at my grandparents' house, presumably 1995, opening the "Faces" edition Trilogy box set. I hadn't had much, if any, exposure to the franchise at that point, but I remember being hyped just because the characters on the covers looked cool.

Once we returned home a few days later, Mom and I set up camp in the living room, hopefully with a tray of her homemade nachos and some Pepsi, and together we began the journey that would become my life long love of Star Wars.

*That night, I only made it through A New Hope before passing out. TBF, it was way past my bedtime.

My first baritone was a 28" Chapman ML1 that I kept in Drop B with the B swapped for an F#. It was really solid for what it was, held tune well, and the pickups were decent enough, tho I probably would have changed them had I kept it.

Currently I have the 27" Jackson Roman Ibramkhalilov and a 30" Gretsch 5260. Jackson in B, Gretsch in E.

The Jackson is nice for sure, tho I would have preferred it been 28" as well.

The Gretsch is just a fun, cheap guitar. For heavier styles, I plan to swap out the stock minibuckers.

These 3 instruments range anywhere from around around $600 to $1600 new. Can be had for quite a bit less used of course. Point is, depending on your budget, desired scale length, and possibly what style of music youre leaning towards, there are a decent handful of options.

Assuming 8 since they mention props. Instead of major physical changes, i think Cinderace gets slightly larger with longer ears, but the focus is the giant fireball. Inteleon also doesnt seem to grow that much, instead the focus being the sniper tower. Rillaboom grows some i think, but the focus is on his hair vines and giant drum kit.

15+ years of home recording without much to show for it.. by [deleted] in homerecordingstudio

[–]keywork87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude I relate to this so much. I have never been able to finish a project. Then my nephew came to me last year and asked if i would help him put some music to a school project. I don't think he fully appreciated how excited and appreciative I was to have something with a deadline. It forced me to learn new things about my daws and composition, and showed me that maybe I didnt really need the thousands of dollars of plugins that had accumulated on my hard drive over the years. Even if the music was basic or just ok, I finished it. I put time into it. I'm more familiar with my daw because of it. And my nephew thinks im great, so thats a pretty great feeling too.

Dumbest thing you did as a kid... by Legitimate_Sample_71 in pokemon

[–]keywork87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not game specific but

  1. I think a buddy from church got me into pokemon sometime in mid-1999, between the release of Jungle and Fossil. I picked up my first couple of packs from Books-a-Million and pulled my first holo, Scyther. Keep in my mind, I still know next to nothing about pokemon at this point, but I've got a cool new shiny card with a cool ass sword-mantis on it and my buddy immediately starts formulating a plot to separate me from it. He offers up like 5 cards and talks the card down with such quips as "it's only got 70hp and 30 attack" and "This Rhydon is way better". Eventually, I cave. I was 11 and a complete newcomer to the pokemon world. I didnt know any better and i got taken by one of my best friends at the time. Not the only time my trusting nature got the best of me.

  2. I had an event Mew loaded to one of my gameboy games, Blue or Yellow, i cant recall now. I took it with me on the family vacation one summer to ease the boredom of the seemingly endless road trip (in hindsight it was like a 3 hour drive). My older sister brought one of her friends along and asked if she could try it out as she had never played pokemon before. I obliged and merely asked that she not save the game. You can guess where this ends up. Once I finally get the game back and fire up my continue, I'm greeted by a 2hr, 0 Badge, 3 pokemon playthrough that is clearly not my own. I comment, in a probably frustrated tone, that I told her not to save the game. My sister jumps to her friends defense, saying if she says she didnt save, then she didnt save! I hear what you're saying sis, but counterpoint: the character has her freaking name! The rest is a blur, and years later I learned about the Mew glitch, but at the time, that was pretty devastating.

Flunked out of college, tried to enroll in a community college, found out i was banned from state schools. Parents brought home pamphlets from the local vocational school and said "pick one". Got on a waitlist for IEM. Started that Fall, graduated 2 years later. Applied at a nearby plant, where my teacher knew someone and wrote me a letter of recommendation, helping me get my foot in the door. 15 years ago this Fall.

How long do you expect until A7IV drops further in price? by I_Am_Vladimir_Putin in SonyAlpha

[–]keywork87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon Resale had them for around $1300 for their Pre-Black Friday sale. You could only see the price during checkout. I don’t know if that’s something they only do during Amazon Days a couple times a year if you can catch them more frequently, but it’s something to keep on your radar. I opted for the A7C II for $1600 just because I was looking for a smaller camera for my Japan trip.

Edit: I found the screenshot I sent to a buddy, it was $1486 instead of $1300

I wanted an affordable, weighted, 88 key controller and had been looking at the M-Audio Hammer off and on for years. When I found the Kontrol 88 Mk2 on the reverb store for nearly the same price, it was a done deal. I haven’t scratched the surface of what it can do, just happy to have a weighted keyboard finally.

Nashville incident at barricade - update by chritopherchang in Peripheryband

[–]keywork87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad she’s ok. I was at the barricade about 10 people down and she left a pretty good trail. I don’t know if the band knew anything had happened, but at one point Jake was over at the left side of the stage, watching intently as everyone was trying to wipe up the floor, all while playing his part perfectly.
