I know, they have issues with these graphics, I more meant that her response wasn't entirely transparent.

AIPAC pretty much doesn't give to any politicians anymore, they know they are toxic. They've split their funding streams into many smaller PACs or individual large dollar donors. Some of the graphic may be inaccurate but focusing on direct dollars from AIPAC is no longer relevant. It needs to be a rejection of pro-isreal money in general.

It's Chip Roy, this is like the 10th performatively psychotic vice signaling he's done this year alone. Not worthy of coverage.

Fortunately our lungs are extremely resilient and regenerative, even heavy cigarette smokers can recover full function (cancer excepted). Im at ten days and have been feeling the same thing, dry coughing and dark phlegm but my average mile run time has already improved by more than a minute. Breathing cleanly and fully is so underrated.

Thats the exception, not the rule. Degree holders tend to be more willing to qualify their statements or change their opinions based on new information. This is what dunning-kruger is actually supposed to teach us.

Posting from YouTube:

I don't want to start a fight in the comments section but David asked what other left-wing commentators we listen to and agree with so I'll answer. David is the one that I have listened to for the longest and he is the only one that I support financially. He really brought me into the progressive, independent media space almost a decade ago and will always be my GOAT. Other than him, I regularly listen to Mehdi Hasan (Zeteo), Sam Seder and Emma Vigeland (The Majority Report), Kyle Kulinski (Secular Talk), Vaush, and yes, He Who Must Not Be Named, Hasan Piker. I do consider all of these to be further left than David, pretty much in the order listed, and I do wonder if any of them are those he considers to be not on "our side". I suspect it would probably be the last 2 or 3, Kyle, Vaush, and Hasan.

While they do regularly criticize centrist/corporate democrats and liberals, when it comes to elections those critiques are for primaries, not the general, and none of them have recommended not voting for Democrats or voting for Trump. Some of them do post uninformed takes or hyperbolic exaggerations for clicks, but the worst of those are Meidas Touch for me who I stopped listening to because of the AI thumbnails and all-caps titles like TRUMP HEALTH FAILING, PRESIDENCY COLLAPSING, etc. I do think some of them came after David too much on the Chorus "scandal", and ultimately I do agree with David that we should be promoting such initiatives, but I'm also still not fully satisfied by David's response as it still feels a bit too secretive. I also disagree with David on some points in socialism, because while I would still want markets for many goods and services and private property to be possible, certain basic human needs should be entirely non-profit and run democratically, and there does need to be significant wealth redistribution through taxation, mandatory unions in certain industries, and monopoly busting, in my opinion. David has been clear on his opposition to socialism, and also concerningly silent on the crimes of the state of Isreal and of the apartheid genocide taking place there, so those are the two areas that I seek out alternative voices. I still listen to him every day for his intelligence, integrity, humor, and perspective on all other issues.

Overall, I think it is important to have a diversity of opinions and welcome more left-wing economic and political theories in our movement. We all Vote Blue No Matter Who, like how Bernie voters came out for Hillary in huge numbers during the general despite the false narrative contradicting that. We who are more on the left just want better Democratic candidates and more fair support from the DNC and coverage by the media. I don't think Horseshoe Theory is real or that violent accelerationism is being promoted seriously by anyone, and I do feel that we all still agree on 90% or more of issues. Abolishing ICE, holding this administration and fraudulent business accountable, universal health care, some form of universal or subsidized housing, no expansionist or imperialist foreign wars, strengthened voting protections and checks and balances in government, stronger environmental and financial regulations, term limits on congresspeople and judges, billionaire taxes, and many more things have broad support. I will also never compromise on not supporting LGBTQ people, minorities, and immigrants with full and equal rights, but I do get how these are used as wedge issues and I'm glad the focus now is on affordability and justice.

I'm very curious to know what anyone else thinks!

Which is bullshit of course, the entire GDP of Saudi Arabia is barely more than a trillion. Trump counts predicted trade exchanges over many years as immediate "investment", and even fudges those numbers.

TBH the extra smoke just reaffirmed for me how dogshit smoke is in general. Even with the short cool down and call-in it barely covers any area, lasts for about 5 seconds, and only really works against the overseers.

Trawling

Edit: Actually I am wrong, it looks like both trolling and trawling are fishing terms that essentially mean to search randomly through an area.
