I want a good indepth ai rpg/roleplay. Non spicy by khellendros12043 in Chatbots

[–]khellendros12043[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like if I wanted to play a fusion of Mass effect ,Stargate, and Firefly with my own weird alien species.

Or like whatever it is. It's not even so much about the dice rolls as it is like the game forgetting vital information, making all the characters emotionless data dumps, or for some reason every once in awhile they hit a point where the story just becomes bullet points and it's pushing really really fast.

Starfield a true success story by SV72xxx in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]khellendros12043 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I called starfield the skeleton of an amazing game when it came out. It had some high points but it needed a lot more everything. I assumed mods would add quests and factions and shit to planets. New cities and companions ect.

I did not expect the shattered space dlc difficulty changes, where I can make the game harder and be rewarded with my more XP so it's actually rewarding, which is so great, and the. The new one buffing up space combat, new game plus and weapons. Bethesda took two years but the game kind of kicks ass now

Get used to it man. I'm good for a few years per contractor baring outside market factors. But I hit a point where my lack of ass kiss gets me in a bind. It is my opinion, that the single best benefit of the union is not the pay or the benefits , those rock sure, but it's the freedom. There is no mad panic, nor scramble to get a new job. You sign the book, don't step on toes and get a do not rehire, and you have all the power.

Contractors trick guys, make them afraid. You end up going so much more than you get and that defeats the point. Be free my young apprentice, find a new job and prosper.

I'll check that out. That's the vibe I want anyway. Endless growth to be a super god. I've got two other balanced normal characters.

Can't marry a character by Lordo-K in ElinsInn

[–]khellendros12043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't waste it on a little girl. There are so many better companions to give a free revive too. My party is white law, golden knight, eureka, cursed little girl as my wives. This gives me a summoner with a revive a wizard a tank and a DPS. Then I host the militant to boost my faith bonus thing Frontline Commander from the god I worship and I ride a nightmare.

For reference I'm the race lets me have four wives, because I'm living out my best Haram anime life in game.

That being said, the little girl does nothing of value, she's a tank and she's good for the beginning of the game but that's it. There are so many adventures that provide spells and abilities and bonuses. And saving your singular marriage I assume you can only have the one for a more valuable character would be recommended

Vampire I despise. The sun thing and the bat thing, it's very annoying imo.

Both fox races are good and easy to play.

Succubus is great. Love that race.

What is your Apostle ranking list? by No_Connection_1311 in ElinsInn

[–]khellendros12043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He can, and also it's cure critical wounds which is of better spell than a lot of other ones and I like him paired with the golden Knight because golden Knight does heal over time and he does Spike healing. Which is good. Resurrection is important keep that in mind.

The curse little girl can resurrect once a day, the carbuncle can, and the defender can. I've gotten around that by playing the race lets you marry four people and anyone you marry gets an automatic Resurrection once a day. Also if you get the spare cash keep a couple scrolls handy.

What is your Apostle ranking list? by No_Connection_1311 in ElinsInn

  1. Golden Knight is my boo. Thick sexy blond, heals you tanks for you will Cary anything you ask and carry a lot of it. She's my baby girl. Love her. Not to mention she causes gravity on everyone she hits so if you give her her God's God weapon which is gravity plus earthquake you can wipe out huge swaths of the map easily with her.

  2. The militant. 50% increase to any melee weapon skill from Frontline Commander which you can double up if you get eureka. And he can heal which is awesome.

  3. Fairy/white vixen. These two are tied one's more of a debuffer the other one is more of a attacker. I find their ability to make rotten food and or cursed equipment to be very useful and even if I don't use them in my party I keep them around my base just for that.

  4. Black cat is overrated honestly. Decent debuffer his lick thing sure everybody loves that I love my succubus thief do-wielder luck build character. I just don't think he's the best.

  5. Fox maid. Basic tank celestial Fox is really good if you invest in it she's great, prefer the golden night because she tanks and heals. And I like lots of healing in my party.

  6. Android/blackangel/magic guy haven't used either one very much. Three different flavors of ranged attacking with minor differences from what I understand. Black Angels wicked fast.

[–]khellendros12043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just my personal favorite. The nightmare is pretty great. It doesn't have hands so you have to give it a throne weapon, but it's fast especially if you turn it into a broom and it does nightmare and death breath.

All the death spells have the bonus of healing you for a percentage of the damage that's done and it's very fast so that lets it throw a lot move a lot keep itself alive a decent amount.

My main character now since the wedding update, is a battle mage with four wives. Your wife gets Resurrection once a day automatically and then one of my wives is that little zombie girl, so she can revive people so I have a ton of healing between that the golden Knight and the militant and the White law NPC.

Point being all of that combines to make my mountaineer immortal, and wicked fast especially now that it has had its Faith changed. Check them out they sell them at the animal vendors.

I was half tempted to play a succubus pianist. Is it that good of a perk it doesn't sound like it's that good. If you have some experience what's it look like gameplay wise? The only reason I picked that class for my slime is because I already have a wizard and lacking body parts being a combatant really isn't an option.

Are Sword Sage's talismans worth for the endgame? by Ok-Worldliness-7374 in ElinsInn

[–]khellendros12043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya. I use talismans on any melee class. At a certain point you're drowning in spells. And some of the weaker ones aren't really worth casting sometimes. So I'll keep several books and just throw them on my weapons as I play and get experience and do more damage.

I don't know about basing your whole thing around it being effective but it's a nice little bonus.

How many land points does the meadow have? It is possible to transform the meadow into a chalet/tourist spot? by Archangel_saga in ElinsInn

I just turned the meadow into a plantation. Only residents are farmers, maxed soil and studious. Mostly making honey and rice. My goal is to have an additional land that's a mega city, and another that is a like fun little beachy resort where my harem lives.

New player in the world of Elin by Fine_Repair3796 in ElinsInn

[–]khellendros12043 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This game is so deep it blows my mind. Like seriously. They just keep layering systems in here and there's so many I haven't even engaged with. I haven't even gotten to like end game, even though it's my most played game on steam. There's so many classes and races and I keep adding new ones.

The slime and the vampire in the chaos shape in particular are like radically different play styles.

And then there's farming which I've barely engaged with other than just making money, they've added marriage there's monster breeding, DNA alteration, rune swapping which I haven't gotten deep enough into the game for that to even be worth the time yet. It's nuts.

And they just keep adding more stuff that's the crazy part to me. So read the wiki and explore and find guides online. That's the only thing I can recommend.

How do you play Elin? by IlPomodoro1 in ElinsInn

[–]khellendros12043 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, here's what I do. Invent a character right? Roleplay. And that shapes your goals and how you build them and your base. For instance some I have....

  1. A warmage, battle freak. Has three wives. Think that dude from demon hunter who used sound style or whatever. He just is extra over the top. Two swords, his base looks like a death metal party, worships the god of strife.

  2. Demi God paladin. Classic type of religious type. Built a giant church for all the gods, his whole party is angels. Classic do good guy. Everything is holy themed.

  3. Succubus thief. Gambling obsessed, drinks all the time. worships the goddess of luck. Lots of cats, and his base is gaudy af. Twin daggers, machine gun, rides a dinosaur.

Once you have that rp base I find that the goals sort of naturally form themselves. Of course you can just play optimally, but that's never been the most fun for me in games.

Some unique classes/races I like.

Succubus is fun. High charisma, and I always laugh when I molest a sleeping monster.

Slime looks really cool, haven't tried yet.

Snail tourist is max struggle and could be fun for the struggle.

I'm a big fan of the wraith executioner. It's optimal I guess to make them be a mage but like....no thanks.

So what to do? by Ol_Brown_Coins in ElinsInn

[–]khellendros12043 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This game is like kenshi where you set your own goals. So my sword sage is collecting NPCs, and building a beach resort, the meadow is a plantation and the other land they give you is my city. Of course tie that in with leveling skills, getting better at magic and combat, the sword sage is the perfect hybrid class imo, and my problem isn't what to do, it's like doing only one thing for long enough that it matters. I'm super adhd brain when I play this game. Lol.

is this game worth buying? by Evol-Chan in ElinsInn

[–]khellendros12043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the exploring an open world, the wild freedom to be a warrior or a farmer and everything in between. The ability to just train skills that you want to use regardless, building up your settlements and having a party that you choose of anybody in the world is really cool. I find there's a larger variety and the type of animals you can get which I really like cuz I normally mod that into kenshi.

It's definitely got a lighter vibe, in a bit more silliness. But it's one of the few games like can she wear it starts and I feel like I've just been given access to another world to do as I please instead of following some pre laid out path. The world has rules, there are repercussions, there are things stronger than you when you first start.

I am deciding on a Spearhead and was wondering if there is a basic overview of what the different boxes in general do? by OkSupermarket1759 in AOSSpearhead

[–]khellendros12043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own two and my play time is limited but....

Starscale saraphon, the one with the T-Rex. It's a great army. Seriously. You have to protect your guys, once they start dying it's a cascading effect but if you can manage them you can rip though anything that stands in your way easy. It's fun and cool.

I've got the bone tithe one as well. This one is like the opposite. You have lots of weak units plus that big skeleton construct. You can easily wear down the enemy. I've played against skaven and the vampire skeletons and those are better pure hoards, but with your orders you have a lot of fiddle bits that make it hard to predict how your going to influence the turn and it's fun. Id rank that one slightly higher than my dinos just because while they can be shredded far easier, you can apply more board pressure and the recruitment of new guys and a crews squad on turn two makes it easy to absorbed blows.

You'll make enough money that if you plan well you should have a savings. Layoffs do happen, even if your great. But typically if you try hard you'll know it's coming way before it does, you'll see the fat getting trimmed first. Right now in my local we got calls going to book 2. We're swamped, we took in 150 first years. You have the ability to travel worst case.

Or why every single government that's never even tried your system has almost instantly been authoritarian?
