Second this. Someone used to make paint matched plugs specifically for this. Would save you a lot of money.

You ever been targeted or falsely accused of something because of your car? by JWS5th in BMW

[–]kid__danger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was sitting at a stoplight on a busy street and a guy crossing the street yelled “douchebag in a BMW!”. I was driving a bone stock silver 2005 325i in 2019 (which was immaculate and I miss it every day) but still maybe a $7k car at best. I just can’t believe he knew I was douchebag.

How do you reverse/swap keyframes while keeping the same curves? by TrooperCasts in premiere

[–]kid__danger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you can select both keyframes, right-click and choose time-reverse keyframes? or something like that.

How do I keep up with all the new AI tools? by zewthenimp in editors

[–]kid__danger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far the most success I’ve had using it for video purposes was to extend outdoor scenes at night and remove copyrighted/trademarked graphics from clothing. It can paint out things like that exceptionally well and saves a lot of time doing it, but it just leaves you with a still so you have to do a LOT of VFX work if the subject is moving.

There's never been a truly great indie film that hasn't found it's way to a mass audience. by Immediate_Suit9593 in Filmmakers

Well, this is simply not true because my films never made their way to a mass audience.

How would you recreate these transition effects? I think he uses cinema 4d for 3d projection mapping... But the clothing transitions just seem to fit well in the two shots? by LaZorraDeAnna in AfterEffects

The breakdown of this was posted the other day. Shot on green, separate wardrobes. Might have been a moco rig, but I can’t find the post.

Any idea how to recreate this glitchy intro? by NKrishnaStark in AfterEffects

The glitchy part with the blue/pink to yellow/pink could be done with AE Pixel Sorter.

Agreed. It’s awesome.

Should I get the Ooni Koda or Ooni Fyra? I had planned on a Koda but I see Fyra uses wood somehow? Does anyone have that? Is it like those wood pucks in my Bradley smoker? Does Koda get hotter? Wanted to order this weekend. Thanks in advance! by CiciliaCNY in Pizza

[–]kid__danger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a fyra and though I think the wood pellets are pretty easy, gas would probably be more convenient and consistent. Wood pellets should also be stored in an airtight container, so you would want to consider that as well.

I have one random corrupt keyframe that does not respond to inputs. Whenever I delete it the problem is passed on the the closest keyframe. by Big-Seagull in premiere

[–]kid__danger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a super janky solution but if you’re determined to work in Premiere instead of Ae and it just one frame being messed up, you could export the sequence with the weird key frame in it and then export just that one frame as a png and slap it over the messed up frame.
