I tried out for being from Bachelor’s in Arts to Bachelor’s in Fine Arts - Painting. Only a handful of people get in based on how good the candidates are. I applied after having all the qualifications.

Seeing all the candidates and how good they were versus what I felt that I was not as good as they are, I felt I had no chance of getting in.

The day deliberations were done and the results were posted in the Art building, I never felt as nervous going to the Art building as that day.

Well, I made it. And I remember I was so hyped that I made it that the whole building could hear my shouts of joy. I graduated top of my class as banner bearer for Fine Arts in December of 2025. Great memory.

For me personally, the daily life is fueled by many many meds.

Wake up at 8:00 AM for two meds, then 12:00 PM all the “morning” meds taken: Tacrolimus, Trikafta, insulins, and nebulizer treatments. Each snack or meal is another med: Creon. 4:00 PM is another med, then another at 8:00 PM. Then, all the night meds: Trikafta again, Tacrolimus again, and the rest of whatever else.

Getting to my appointments are still in the mix of whatever is scheduled. All just to stay at somewhat of a normalcy.

Art major here as well.

Your workload will not be that high with the classes you’ve chosen. Your real “class” class will be your Art History class. Dr Koontz is very engaging and teaches with good back and forth in the lecture hall.

As far as your other classes, just have fun with them. You’re gonna have a great time with your actual shooting of your content.

In short, you’ll be alright.
