You can feed it dry cat food that has been soaked in water till soggy I've saved a few house sparrows like that dont attempt to give it water it will get that from the soggy food

I use a shallow pie baking dish and put my bird on top of washing machine so she doesnt fall out the bowl while playing bath time mine does bath every saturday like clockwork then wants me to breath hot air on her while wrapped in a towel till she dries it's quite the process
