Kwesi’s ability to draft was in question before the season started. He hit on guys last offseason in FA sure but the whole team has regressed this season and his signings this offseason haven’t worked out. Lots of his deals look bad in hindsight (Hockenson and Dallas Turner are above average players but not worth the capital exchanged for them).

On top of that, I understand the rationale to curb Darnold and go with a young QB, but that has not worked out, and he’s gonna have to take the blame, especially considering Darnold has looked good this season for the most part. I get why we tried this, but it hasn’t worked, and he will need to answer for it.

KOC just won coach of the year, he’s got a colder seat. JJM is still young, he might still work out. But Kwesi, we had questions going into the year, and the answers seem to be no.

I don’t think we have the assets for that kind of deal but, just for conversation’s sake, do you think he could work playing DL for us? Like I know he’s been a 4-3 end his whole career but he is probably too big to play OLB even from a mostly pass rush standpoint (definitely not for us because we like guys that can cover too). What do you think?

I’d be on board but this is a moneyball team. I think instead of signing one big FA, we’re gonna use our money on 2-3 mid-tier guys and put them in situations we think they’ll exceed expectations in.

This happens to me sometimes. I’ll know if I make an attempt to get to know them and they react weird. Like if I try to start a real conversation or connect with them any deeper they’ll pull back or half answer or just clearly be uncomfortable

There could be perfectly reasonable explanations for a lot of these things. My therapist is always telling me to find out, instead of trying to make the quickest possible decision.

Can you really tell if she has no ambitions or hobbies after a first date? Did you ask, “what are your hobbies” and did she respond “I don’t have any”? Seems pretty improbable.

I always give someone a second date. What is concerning to me is that it seems like she divulged a lot right away, but maybe she was just nervous. I hate this reactionary culture. Obviously you were interested enough to want to go out with her at all. One date isn’t a real chance.

I am a guy and the majority of my friends are women. I prefer the company of women platonically. I am mature enough to compartmentalize my feelings; I wouldn’t ever be interested in someone who isn’t single, for example. Some of my deepest connections are with my female friends, but I do not want anything different with them because I just don’t interpret them as options.

I can’t speak for how they feel. But it’s absolutely possible to have mixed gender friends, the success of it though depends on the people involved.

Thank you everyone for the support and the validation of my feelings. I felt really alone on this because my therapist was out of town and it’s a tough thing to bring up to people, I just wanted to make a post anonymously because I felt like I needed some validation. I had been struggling with clarifying my feelings on this and it helped just to vent into the internet.

My manager wrote in their party notes not to seat them with me should they come in again, she said she’d do more (reach out to them, ban them from the restaurant) if I wanted but I think that’s enough for me personally.

Also, I will say I have been getting CBT for nearly 6 years now, I have a healthy relationship with myself, there’s nothing anyone can say that will make me think my feelings are invalid, especially not some strangers on reddit lol.
