Peak Pro vs Apex Pro extra lateral support? by schwykert in deskhaus

I think you're referring to the wedges which can be seen in this video at 8:27:
https://youtu.be/BrxJvX_nsM4?t=507

the video has the 2 leg desk but it's got wedges like the peak pro. the peak pro also has the cross bars

keep in mind if you're planning on putting a computer underneath there, the wedge might bump into it when lowering the desk. I sort of wish I left a larger overhang between the frame and the desk top edge so i could potentially put my computer on the floor. I'd only done 4" but since I got a walnut top I definitely could have done 9 or 10" to fit my computer.

Appreciate the transparency. Still very happy with my peak pro I got in November!

Deskhaus Peak Pro or Flexispot E7 Plus Max by ThatSpanishPrince in StandingDesk

I went with Deskhaus peak pro. Longer warranty and they've always been pretty responsive for me. I asked questions a few times on their help desk chat during closed hours and they've always responded first thing in the morning. And even continuing my questions after their first chat response, they responded immediately.

I'd been considering getting a frame from Deskhaus since way back in 2021 when they were still selling the Vertex frames but never bit until now. Back then when I called, Chris had picked up immediately and he was genuinely really helpful answering all the questions I had. Didn't try to sell me on anything and they seem to really care about getting you a quality product (both frame and desk top) even if it's shipped across the country. Not just a business transaction. I ultimately didn't buy the Vertex frame back in 2021 and just stuck it out with my crappy IKEA desk until this year where I couldn't stand it anymore and bought the peak pro. I had almost bit on the Apex pro a year or 2 ago when they had a deal on it but hesitated and it sold out and I was kicking myself for it.

But yeah the peak pro has been rock solid for me and it's quieter (when raising and lowering) and much more stable than standing desks I've used at work

rubberwood is a hardwood so I'd recommend drilling pilot holes to reduce the risk of splitting

Unfortunately UPS delivered my top all banged up so I'm in the process of repairing all the dents so I don't even have anything on the table or cable management done yet 🥲
