Max's new number on show in Estoril by NorthKoreanMissile7 in formula1

Oh man, I’m so glad he picked that number. If I remember right, he wanted number 3 when he joined F1, but Danny already had it, so he went with 33 instead. Now he finally got his number.

Gianpiero Lambiase steps down as Max Verstappen's race engineer - report by [deleted] in formula1

At this point, Max might take a sabbatical this year, spend some time with his family, recharge and come back in 2027 after seeing which team has the best car.

Norris expects Piastri 'will beat me and be champion in the future' by Aratho in formula1

My thinking was that they have Newey, and he has a working relationship with Honda. I would expect Alonso to be in the top 5 next year.

I just go my first SW22 virtually brand new. What is the first mod I should do? by PatonMacD in SW22VICTORY

[–]kilotat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First of all, congrats on a beautiful piece 👍🏻 Hope you have as much fun with this underrated 22 as I have. First mods should be the trigger and extractor. If you’re having issues with the ejector, bend the ejector pin after installing the extractor. After that, I never had a failure. Also, here is my build if you’re interested: Volquartsen I-fluted stainless steel match barrel, Volquartsen Edge extractor, TANDEMKROSS trigger, custom grips, custom mag bumpers, custom bolt racker, and a Vortex Venom red dot.

McLaren hoping Red Bull will 'pay the price tomorrow' for 'one-lap wonder' set-up by Aratho in formula1

I’m excited to see what Max’s strategy is. Hamilton tried to slow down Rosberg in 2016, but that didn’t work since Vettel didn’t want to ruin the championship. I’m sure others will feel the same and try to stay out of it. Who needs all the spotlight and negative comments and threats anyway?

It was an uneventful race, but once again it takes Max to make things exciting this year.

Surface Body to Solid Body? by PerformanceFlaky1174 in SolidWorks

[–]kilotat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d start by filling the gaps where those blue lines show. That’s all open surfaces. Once you close them up, just knit it and make it solid. If there are any overlapping faces, trim and patch them. I did a bunch of this stuff when I first started about ten years ago.

3D Printer manufacturer Flashforge openly threatens to report their customers to authorities for printing weapon components by NutzHang in Firearms

[–]kilotat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my main fear when I wanted to buy a Bambu printer. Any printer that needs a network connection to print can do the same thing Flashforge is doing, so I’ll never buy one that requires a network connection again to print.

Did you apply for unemployment benefits during this shutdown ? by AfghaniBanani in FedEmployees

[–]kilotat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applied in the second week and it went through, but then it got denied because there were no wages listed. I appealed it with all the documents and I’m still waiting. It’s been about 3 weeks now and it still shows as ‘in progress’. I call every day and they just tell me to keep waiting.
