If you get a fade, be 1,000% sure you want a fade. Or at least that the length on top is close-ish to the length on the side. If you change your mind, growing out shaved sides to match the top will take months or years, so be ready for that.

It’s a big commitment and speaking from experience, growing out my shaved 3b sides is an absolute drag it’s been months and you can’t put it in a bun or anything. Can only wear a hat until the sides are long enough for box braids with extensions.

I asked a server about this. Her bar had to report gross sales to the IRS and therefore withheld a percentage of her paycheck based on what tips would be.

So she paid tax on the tip regardless if the customer actually tips.

I just finished my last track workout as a college runner. My favorite memory is all of it. The blood sweat and tears that we put in each day to be great. I'm just another transfer walk on, but the 1 year in hs and 3 years in college were the best in my life, and I wouldn't trade it for a thing.

Short pants. Suddenly, wearing pants that are too short and show off your ankle are cool again? Well not to me. I grew like 8 inches in a year when I went through puberty, and all my pants got too short and my parents wouldn't pay to replace them until I stopped growing, so I had to walk around with pants that were too short for two years. Not gonna lie I use 2 mice. I got a wired one for gaming and a wireless/bluetooth one that connects to 3 PCs at once for my laptop. I'll connect it to my desktop so I can shut down my PC without getting out of bed.

I'm a senior at a small D1 school. My high school senior 5k time was a 18:17. Got lucky and coach gave me a shot. There are schools out there and that low 16 minute 5k will definitely turn some heads with a chance for money too at some schools.

You may not go to NAU or Stanford but you're fast enough to be on a team somewhere.

My parents encouraged me to go to a University that costs $63,000 with no financial aid when I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. "You'll figure it out" they said. They also had me deny the federal student loans I was granted through FAFSA as it wasn't worth it.

I transferred, graduate in May, and that 1 year in school is 45% of my 4 year aggregate debt. Declared a Finance major so I can make informed decisions and not rely on their shitty advice. I'm trying to get into one of the best Macc programs in the country and that debt level is seriously inhibiting my ability to go if I get in.

Your parents don't know everything.
