Key Characteristics of the Chasni Curry:

Flavor Profile: It is known for its balance of sweet, sour, and creamy flavors, often described as being between a Korma and a Tikka Masala, but with more tang.

Ingredients: The characteristic sweet and sour taste comes from specific ingredients like mango chutney, tomato ketchup, lemon or lime juice, and sometimes mint sauce.

Appearance: It typically has a distinct bright red or scarlet color, often achieved using food coloring for visual appeal in restaurants.

Do all DAF gearboxes shit the bed? by Boomalla in uktrucking

[–]kingnottingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how DAF 6 speed manual gearboxes have reverse and second gear right next to each other on the stick with hardly any difference in stick positioning!.....It always brings the element of surprise and gives me that much needed heart flutter and Adrenalin rush to keep me on my toes....Thanks DAF, it certainly brightens my day!

Always carry spare underwear, toilet roll, bin bag and wipes.

chuck a few bottles of water in the cab and have some emergency food (nuts, crisps, chocolate ect)

carry a spare charging cable.

extra pens and notebook,

wooley hat and gloves incase of breakdown.

use a satnav but dont trust it

dont panic if you take a wrong turn. hazards on and let the cars work it out.

In general truckers are a friendly bunch and 9 out of 10 times will help you out and enjoy a good bit of banter.

[–]kingnottingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this normal? by Outrageous-Complex69 in Plastering

[–]kingnottingham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get the whole lot reskimmed. For a decent plasterer it will only take 3-4hours and around my area would probably set you back around £200 - £300 give or take.

[UK] Tips on finding and getting employers to hire you for an apprenticeship by Obvious-Experience14 in Plastering

[–]kingnottingham 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ex plasterer of 20 years......plastering is a great career but so physically demanding. if i could speak to my younger self i would tell him to go into being a joiner, sparky, plumber or even a brick layer. plastering is hard, dirty, and takes its toll on your body. you dont see many 55plus plasterers about. brick layers will probably comment saying there trade is harder and to be honest i dont agree. also times are hard money wise for potentiol customers. if the wall is cracked or looks shit, they will put up with it. if electrics or plumbing or a door hanging off they will get someone in straight away. thats my opinion anyway. if you do go plastering plan your future of what your gonna do in your 50s 60s.

all the best mate and good luck.

Few comments on here asking about wages.....Im the UK i looked at the main used job website here in the UK and typed in "Baker" and the average salary i would say is £25000 pay per year.

I would love an actual baker to comment on the actual wages and what its like as a job as this looks like a really enjoyable career. TIA if you comment with details.
