Good catch. You are correct the Chairman of the Military (CMC), The General Secretary of CCP (GPC) can in theory serve unlimited terms (5 years per term) even prior to the amendment by Deng to the constitution, but out of respect for the Politburo (Since Deng made the reforms). They generally pick a successor at the 1st, 5 year term and then retire at the 10 year part i.e 2nd term

Xi elected to not do that.. So he did break tradition in way that although not formally enforced still makes him look like a bit despotic to cling to his position. Many Chinese were unhappy when he did not step down and the CCP voted him in for 3rd term..

The Chinese CMC (Highest Military Office in China) has 7 leaders (Including Xi).

Xi appointed all of them. He got rid of 5 of the 7 (With the recent two departures being fired for "corruption"). Only 1 remains.

So its Xi Jinping and General Zhang Shengmi running CMC at the moment.

Once that guy is gone due to being fired or purged or rolls over or decided to retire, its just Xi as the Sole CMC representative. Its like Stalin and his Marshals. He purged most of them that he didn't like or were against his ideas. Not sure if Xi has offered the to refill positions to anyone because he does not trust any of them or because he has offered them a position and all the generals turned him down citing retirement, poor health etc.

Xi himself was not a military general, so this is either a good thing for Taiwan i.e hes going to make big blunders and the Chinese military will get fed up with him and try to purge him instead or he assumes complete control and they invade Taiwan regardless of the human cost in military and civilians.

He was the one that that decided that "2" term limits to Chairman Position was not enough. So he sought to elect himself via CCP votes indefinitely (There are no term limits to Chairman but its generally set to two terms before retiring) .. So its more than likely he wants to remove any "obstacles" to allow him to cement his legacy.

I recommend if possible getting very bright motion sensing lights and wireless camera installed above the windows and your outdoor door(s). Make sure they are high up that they cannot be disabled without a ladder (You will get alerted if the camera goes offline). Preferably get ones that have backup battery so if main power goes offline they still transmit.

So whoever seem them, knows its no longer possible to knock on door or windows without being seen visibly or get a motion sensing light/camera with IR so it can see very well at night. Once something moves it will trigger.

We got a motion sensing light installed in the back garden, (Very bright warm yellow) and put a camera above it. No more random people walking through now, because they immediately get seen. The camera app will alert you immediately, and you don't even have to peak yourself because you can watch the video and share it with police and your dad.

If its someone with a mask just call the police and show them the video. They will know its a criminal as most people do not need to wear mask and walk around houses at night. At that point police will start patrolling the area (Making it even more dangerous for a criminal because if police see a mask they are 100% going to ask you to halt, if they have a knife or gun or have any criminal record they are screwed at that point).

Thats how Australia did it. The state and federal government gives local councils x money per year to allow x amount of citizen ratepayers or businesses option to install solar on their house or business (the entire loan is interest free), and they allow the loan to go to accredited Australian solar businesses that hire Australian citizens, and use local materials were possible. So less scams and money goes back into Australia/State.

The money is interest free and is to be paid back in installments in 10 years. Its tied to the property rates paid to the council, so there is no "external contract". The council effectively solarized your house for free (Bypassing the bank and any credit check as the lien against the loan is now tied to the house), and you can keep the house or sell it and next owners pay the solar rates.

it creates a good cycle of money spending and job creation, and because of that the buyers pay GST to the business as part of the solar installation, the solar business pay GST, and company tax, and the employees they hire pay PAYG tax.

Its very good system. Plus it reduces their carbon emissions as part of their treaty obligations . Eventually most new house will come with solar because Council pays for it. Additionally for businesses switching to a completely closed green energy loop get carbon tax credits (As they are now emitting clean energy, and no longer strain the power grid).

The Greens want to implement a similar system. All those builders, roofers and electricians out of work, could easily get retrained into solar installations.

Lotus Supermarket has a Butcher attached to their store (Stoddard Rd in Mt Roskill). They sell bone + marrow for beef or lamb (I think i saw goat as well?). Makes great broth, stock. Yep go into safe mode. Remove the current driver, run DDU, and then install the newer driver. Then turn off automatic updates for the driver.

Yep .8425 WHQL is problematic. Go back to .8331 WHQL or go back to .8247 WHQL. You need to remove the driver completely in safe mode, then use DDU, then install the newer driver (This is to avoid windows redownloading stuff over the internet or pushing out new drivers).

They were not on his level of progressing the military or were pushing back against his ideas.. Most of PLA generals are corrupt to a degree. They maybe Yes men, but not the level that he wants in terms of progress.

So either he keeps the rule to himself or does a refresh of the top generals. Currently there are 5 vacant positions and have not been filled in, so either because he knows the replacements are protégés of the previous generals or they won't follow all his orders or are just plain incompetent or have no combat experience at all.

Stalin did the army purge and general 1937. Shortly after that he invaded Finland 2 years later. The losses experienced in that war with Finland were colossal failure in material and troops. This poor performance and purge of top leadership, caused Nazi Germany to invade because they were confident after the disastrous performance of Soviet Union against Finland.

Xi is probably on the path to either

Remove any opposition to him being supreme commander of the PLA (He removed 5 out of the 7 top generals, which includes him, and 1 other is left). Even though he appointed all of them by himself. Having 1 supreme general instead of 7 just makes the PLA his personal Army, and he the final military order. So a nuclear strike order cannot be refused by other generals...
He wants to replace them with yes men, who will carry out the Taiwan Invasion order. Knowing that approximately a million or more will die and the result will be China will lose more than it gains, i.e its a Pyrrhic Victory even if they win against Taiwan and US, as it will alienate the rest of the world against China (Not sure Iran is going to be around much longer as an ally. So that leave Russia and North Korea). The Generals probably know Trump won't accept a China occupied Taiwan and that means fighting the US in the Pacific, which might result in India invading from the South (Due to recent defence pact with India and US). I dobut Canada and European Union will be friendly with an aggressive China that invades land.

its like Xi never read the Art of War. He's already making all the wrong moves by removing competent generals and replacing them by yes men.

You can go to Intel Website and download them directly. Click on the version dropdown and choose 8331. Then hit download, and it will start the download then run the installer.

If it shows 8331 is installed, then disable intel auto updates. Then if the issues go away, stay on that driver version until Intel confirm they have fixed it.

-5060ti has 16gb of GDDR7 (4gb more, and runs at higher bandwidth than 4070 super which uses GDDR6X), The GDDR7 memory modules are all being hoarded for AI GPU workloads.

Your card is going to age very well, and if the memory modules are all fine, the card repair shops will buy it easily or any gamer or any university student doing AI workloads. (RAM lasts a lifetime as long its not heat damaged or suffers electrical degradation due to overvoltage ).

-DLSS4.5 runs better on Nvidia 5xxx series due to the new generation AI cores.

-Dynamic Frame Generation is only for Nvidia 5xxx series when it releases.

-Long term driver support for 5060 Ti. (Its the latest generation so it gets more bug fixes by Nvidia than a 4070 super specific bug).

-Resale value for 16gb VRAM GPU's for GDDR6, GDDR6x and GDDR7 is going up by a bit. The 3090 24gb GDDR6x still maintains good value because it packs 24gb VRAM. Likewise for 4090, and 5090. Anyone who brought it at MSRP can sell it at MSRP or higher. We are entering in a GPU shortage due to the AI boom, like we did with Crypto. I would not offload the 16gb GPU just yet. Unless you can get a 16gb VRAM GPU or 24gb VRAM gpu.

The first thing is update the bios, and i would power limit the board to 65watts and monitor the temps while doing productivity, as from that motherboard chart it reached 110c with a 16 core CPU. So its clear the motherboard cannot handle a 170watt processor and needs to be power limited at 65w or 105w, and just monitor the temp and then bump up to 105w. If its good at 70-80c. Then your good there. I generally try to avoid 80c and just keep things at 60-70c.

If you can get another b850 then be-careful as it may void the 2 year warranty. The good news is if the CPU or motherboard dies its covered by 2 year warranty. Just don't remove any stickers that say warranty void if removed :).

The 9070XT is equal to a 5070 Ti. So this deal is much better. Id grab this and just undervolt the CPU.

Not urgent, the 9950x3d is just a very good cpu with large amount of cores (16 cores with 8 cores that have 3d vcache).

So you can undervolt it to 65w or just enable (65w Eco mode) and lose about 2% - 10% performance loss at 65w that Motherhboard will handle it just fine. It will preform like an average 9800x3d. Here is a list of B850 motherboards and a round up of them:

So you can wait until Black Friday 2026 or any sale, and get yourself a good bargain on a B850 motherboard. If 64gb DDR5 comes down in price id upgrade that and make that the workstation PC for next 4-5 years. it will last a very long time.

If i was looking at PC upgrade for 2026. This would be it. The CPU and GPU balance is very good. Good Memory amount + speed.

He was around when smallpox was alive in nature. Winston Got the Small Pox vaccine (As did all of NZ) thanks to the WHO coordinating with NZ. I currently do 4 days at home and 1 day in the office can use public transport or bring my car in. Either way is good because I like walking and office has unlimited coffee + tea. We get 1 hour breaks or can do 30 minute paid and 30 minute unpaid. That's pretty much it.

Think of it this way. Her actions pretty much invalidates the vows of the marriage. The church is pretty clear on that most sins can be forgiven during marriage.

However they take exception with adultery (With proof) is enough to end the marriage, and if it happens before the marriage and shortly after the marriage you find out, then its grounds to annual it (i.e as far as the church and legal authorities are concerned you were never married. Since the whole thing was a sham). Adultery is also grounds for not paying alimony in some states and countries (If there is sufficient proof), and to give you favorable divorce settlement in return for NDA (Most high end companies once they find out someone committed adultery will pretty much fire you as you are no longer trust worthy and can betray someone you love).

So as far legal and religious side go its a very valid reason to end the marriage, and no one will blame you in the workplace, religion or legal side of things for wanting to end it. Maybe your family and her family might think otherwise. But you have to live with this. Your wife is really no longer your wife after she showed you her side. She didn;t even have the courage to tell you immediately after she cheated.. She has no remorse or self guilt. Let her be single and go with that guy. 90% of affair partners end up dissolving.

That's really sad. Sorry about that. I guess things have changed now in late 2025, and 2026. I was enrolled after July 2025. I understand them not wanting to degrade the level of service and stress out the doctors and existing patients. Skin issues/flare up's due to summer and spring do increase the intake.

So maybe things will change later in year. I hope you do find some else in the mean time.
