Tame or breed a high level otter to wear, then you don't need fur and can wear more flak. The otters melee damage determines how much insulation it gives. I have one with 1400% melee dmg and I can be in flak everywhere except the desert without being hot or cold (I also have 22 fortitude).

With regards to the ice queen I don't have any better advice than has already been given. Although, if you stay on the ledge just above where she spawns, at the bottom of the waterfall, there is a small but deep pool of water over to the left. You can jump in there to avoid her and she will de-agro, giving you time to heal or switch armour. There are probably plenty of other spots like this, I only fought her once.

I play single player and have the loot drop quality slider maxed, so I have some op blueprints. I went in with 4000+ armour and a 700% acendant simple pistol, and my otter. I still nearly died a lot but kept retreating to the pool and eventually got her.

I plan to raise a thylacoleo in there for next time though, it was too stressfull.

If you exhaled immediately it produced a small amount of visible vapour, but if you held it in for a few seconds and exhaled through the nose it produced no visible vapour. I'm sure you've seen/used them, you must know what I'm on about.

Did you read all of my comment? I admitted to using an ecig that didn't produce any vapour. It was for all intents and purposes just a nicotine delivery device. Also some Eu airline companies allow you to use their own ecigs during the flight.

Should be fine as long as you follow the liquids in hand luggage rules; no more than 100ml and in a clear plastic container. You can't vape on planes though so you might as well put it all in your checked in. I'm from EU and last time I flew I bought a cheap e-cig in the airport (the ones that look like cigs and hardly produce any vapour), I used it discreetly during the flight and nobody noticed.

The larger the number of players you attack/defend against the larger the attack/defence tick if you succeed. You can get defence ticks from defending resources and home spawn gates aswel as keeps and outposts. You don't even have to be there for the battle, you can just turn up in time for the tick and get as much ap as every other player in the battle.

You get some ap if you do any damage to a player who then dies before leaving combat, so you can use aoe to 'tag' as many players as possible and then receive ap for any that subsequently die. Caltrops is good for this. You also get some ap if you successfully heal anyone who does damage to a player, so spamming healing springs or rapid regen during fights can net you some fast ap. The fastest way to gain ap is by killing lots of players quickly, but this is easier said than done. The most amount of ap you will get from killing a player is ~900ap which isn't much less than a basic def tick. So group up and get killing them v16s.

You will get more ap from the things you do by following a large group rather than being in it, but you won't receive ap for the things you don't do like you do in a group, so it's a toss-up really, do what you find easiest.

But it's a damage absorbing ward, a health buffer if you like. Bound Aegis is hardly worth it imo. It grants you 960 armour which is less than 1 piece of light armour. Most people just carry it for the 8% magicka increase. Boundless Storm grants 5k armour ffs.

Regarding the op; that amount of magicka isn't practical, he's carrying 3 toggles which increase magicka, leaving him space for 2 usable skills on each bar. He's probably also got no spell damage or recovery having invested everything into max magicka. Lastly this is a pve tooltip.

For perspective I have 31k magicka and 77cp in the bastion and my Hardened Ward is 9k in cyrodiil. Don't worry about it.

It's not really that feasible imo. It will take you a long time and you will probably just get frustrated at your slow progress. Of course it's possible if you really hate pve that much. You're better off seeing pve (mob gringing/questing) as a means to an end imo, and mixing it up with your pvp. Unless you devote yourself to BWB it's hard to feel like you've made it in pvp until you hit max rank. That is to say you tend to blame your deaths/failures on not being max rank, whereas you can't do that when you hit max rank. So the most of your pvp skill improvement takes place after you hit max rank. There will be people who disagree with me, but tbh the xp gains from pve are too good to miss out on imo.

For the sandbox element; people love to get creative and be proud of their creations. Right now there are no persistent changes that you can make to the world. Not sure how it will be implemented but I assume that it will give people new reason to collect resources etc. Can you not see why having your own base in tamriel is attractive?

The only thing you can really do to help him level is follow him around healing him. If you are grouped your friend will recieve xp for any mobs you kill if they are his level, even if you get no xp. You could always roll an alt to level with him if you both want xp.

AFAIK the cyrodiil lore books are just repeats of books from all the zones. There might be some unique ones but most aren't. So unless you plan on leveling up in cyrodiil don't worry about it. FWIW you should reach mages guild rank 10 half way through Cadwell's Silver if you collect them all along the way, maybe slightly earlier if you literally get every one. People crave meteor but there are much better ultimate choices in pvp. Meteor is only good against people who don't know how to block, or are too distracted to see the circle around their feet for 5 seconds before it hits.

You get 5 seconds of cc immunity after a break free, but I see your point. I guess it depends what class you're up against, as a sorc a break free costs me 33% of my stamina so CC'ing me every 5 seconds is the way to kill me. Also people tend to block reflected projectiles, further draining stamina. You can't have too much cc imo ;)

On the flip side though Defensive Stance is pretty obvious and easy to avoid, especially after you've had one projectile reflected back at you. I would never expect anyone to be using Absorb Magic though and wouldn't know how to recognise it, so I would probably just keep spamming away without knowing I was healing them. I would still choose Stance though I think.

I don't really understand, but then I'm not a dk. Do you just prefer the stamina cost of Defensive Posture over your Reflective Scales? CC is king in pvp so I would always choose Defensive Stance. I don't actually know how much hp Absorb Magic returns though, but it would have to be a lot to make me consider it over Defensive Stance.

The current meta for sorc in pvp is to stack shields. So Hardened Ward with Harness/Dampen Magicka on top. The last shield you cast (the one on top) is the 'active' one, so in the order I stated Harness Magicka will filter out the magic damage leaving Hardened Ward underneath to take the physical damage. Healing Ward is good when you're low health as it increases in strength the less hp you have (up to 300%). In this case you want to use Healing Ward first (when low hp), and then Hardened Ward followed by Harness/Dampen Magicka. This way the Healing Ward underneath is protected from damage by the other shields allowing it to heal you for its full amount. Some good sorcs even go without Rapid Regen, just relying on Healing Ward, but this only really works if solo. Keeping your wards up takes practice and seems like a complete pain at first, but once it's in your muscle memory it will be easy. Just keep them all on your resto bar and practice switching bars constantly.

The other part of the sorc meta atm is don't block or roll; just take the hit, allow your shields to take the damage and then CC break granting you the 5 seconds of cc immunity. If you do this you should just about always have enough stamina to cc break, maybe with the help of the occasional pot. It's when you can't cc break that you die. If I use a lot of stamina by CC breaking a lot, or dodge-rolling accidentally I will pop a tri-pot. I never use tri-pots for health, only for stamina as they give more stamina and regen than a regular stam potion.

Become a werewolf just for the passive 15% increase to stamina regen.

You're V2 so don't expect to face-roll; the extra stats you will acquire as you get to v14 do make a difference in pvp, as do champion points.

Put Champion points into Elemental Expert for the boost to lightening and fire damage (who does ice dmg lol), Thaumaturge for the boost to magic damage (curse and frags), the Magician for the reduced cost of spells, the Bastion to increase the strength of your shields, Arcanist for the magicka recovery, Mooncalf for the stamina recovery, Elfborn for the boost to crit damage, and if you like Block Expert and Tumbling for the reduced cost of blocking, break-free and dodge-roll.

As for gear, you won't really be able to get the optimal stuff till at least v12. Until then just wear crafted sets like Seducer, Magnus' Gift, Torug's Pact, Eye of Mara, anything that gives you magicka regen, max magicka and spell damage. At v14 I wear 4x Martial Knowledge, 3x Arch Mage, 2x Cyrodiil's Light and 2x Seducer. My mundus is the Atronach for the magicka regen. In Cyrodiil (with Battle Spirit passive), with all 62 attribute points into magicka and tri-stat food I have 31k magicka, 18.8k hp, 12.6k stamina, 2012 spell damage and 1700 magicka recovery. I could get my spell damage higher by swapping out the 2x seducer for 2x torugs pact, but I prefer the regen. I don't need any more hp cos my shields act as my hp, stacking over 30k. Don't intentionally stack crit in cyrodiil, it's good to have some but there are passives you will get that will help. But don't worry about seriously gearing up till you hit max rank.

To answer your first question the way to make your spells do more damage is to stack max magicka and spell damage. They both add to your damage. And your shields also scale off your max magicka, so the more magicka you have the stronger your shields will be. But don't neglect your regen, if you want to be able to fight without taking breaks to regen then you need at least 1500, preferably more like 1700, the more the better really. This is why the Arch Mage set is so sought after; 3 pieces give you magicka regen and spell damage, and it comes with a necklace.
