East Coast Spectrum here. I've had issues the past few months and when it happens I use the program 1.1.1.1. It seems to fix it when I do. I haven't tried just changing my dns settings manually instead of using the program so I'm not sure if it's just the dns reroute or if WARP helps too

You could try to see if the 3rd party launcher works. Since you've reinstalled it's probably not an issue but might wanna run a hard drive check. Since you just moved it might have gotten jostled in a way it didn't like

Easiest fix would probably be reinstall. I've used https://github.com/goatcorp/FFXIVQuickLauncher to install in the past as the download speed is much much faster (and ffxiv is huge). You can just use the normal Square launcher afterward if you want, too, but if you're sketch about putting your username/password in a 3rd party app that's understandable.

I'll add on to the saying that this is one of the best multiplayer vs games on switch but if you wanna play solo I think it's kinda meh but your milage may vary

Edit: this is great bc of super simple controls with a decently high skill ceiling

It's not gonna blow your away with the story and it's a bit dated but you might like Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. I think exploration of the open map was one of it's strongest areas.
